Two hotel treadmills lately have been faster than the display, and that one I've used most recently is the only one I've ever seen that's spot on - all of this compared to the foot pods on my shoes, which tend to be very accurate and consistent.

Funny you mention that. After two days of running on mine this week, I think my belt moves faster than the display/motor speed. You can tell paces feel different

I didn't use my watch to track it while on the treadmill. But, I did watch the 2nd half of Cowboys & Aliens.

ETA: Hopefully interesting stats for you. This has been my longest mileage month since Feb 2022 (131 miles), before my last full marathon in March 2022. I ran that with an injured left Achille's which is still not 100%. I have not signed up for the next full marathon, but I'm training as though I'll do The Woodlands on March 2. My new job starts this week, and I tend to travel a bunch. I don't know how/if this one will impact training.

3.48/29.92 it was a trudge of a tempo run, maybe should have waited a few hours after “kill the quads” morning in the gym.

ETA:
Added more after the better half got home; she wanted to get out while it was sunny and warm.

2.0 / 135.7

That put me at my highest month since Dec 2019 (~142.7), when I was training for my first marathon.

Just now seeing this and happy to join in. Goal this year is 100 miles per month. January I hit 109.11. By the end of 2023 I was around 135-145 per month, but trying to not overdo it early in the year.

Took a break from lifting a while back, but am back at it. Body hurts. But it's good. Gotta get ready for the beach

Interested in feedback on a hybrid schedule.

Run
Mon-Thurs: Mixed run types
Sat: Long easy run

Lift
Mon & Thurs
Should I lift full body both days?
Alternate upper/lower?
I was also thinking a pattern of full body, upper, full, lower over 2 weeks but that might be unnecessarily complicated
