3.3 yesterday.
I had planned to run my 2nd Half Marathon ever today and it landed on my son's opening day of little league. I had backed out of it then they moved the games back yesterday so I decided what the hell, and did it anyways today. I ran a 1:45:07 which was about 4 minutes better than last year. I'm happy with it since I hadn't really been training for that distance. The course has some brutal hill sections that my right knee loved! Haha 13.1/405.6 |

My ears are now super plugged and I have a massive headache. Perhaps I should have given it another day or two rest. |

I have the urge to upgrade my watch for more features and data. Currently have the Forerunner 935, looking at the 955
Hate to beat gear snob. I got my 935 used when I started running. The watch is from 2017. Mostly interested in HRV, daily suggested workouts, and better battery life. |

Check out the epix 2 - it's a fancier version of the same. Garmin has sent me a coupon for $450 off the white bezel/white band (only that version) of the Epix 2. If it's interesting enough for you PM me and I'll send you the code, since I won't use it myself. |

No kiddo soccer games today, so I made the local running club group run for the first time in years. Being around "my people" for a change was good, ending up running and talking the whole way with a cute young woman who is on her way to med school was just a bonus. |

Pr’d my 5k then kept going to hit 2nd all time on my 10k this morning.
2018 I was “running” a 39:45 5k. Today I ran a 25:02 5k followed by a 52:01 10k. |

4/20-12.5/580.1 This was my first trail run! Was supposed to be 1/2 marathon but per my Garmin I only tracked 12.5mi. They did have to change the course at 10pm on Thursday night due to heavy rain fall earlier in the week. Since I felt I skipped out on the 1/2 marathon came home and ran another 7.5mi after smashing some pizza and a couple beers! 7.5/587.6 |

I've got a 10mi planned for today, a 10k for Monday, and a 5k on Tuesday so I'll pass my goal for the month as long as I don't get hurt or something. Add that to the 228mi of biking I've done, with the planned 80mi remaining over this weekend. I'll be hovering right at 1500mi total for the first 4mo of the year ramping up through the year. |
