well since the last one was stolen..... again! Not recovered, I'll post the new one

Whoops wrong one! This was post purchase. New sprokets, chain, brakes, wheel bearings,.... and some other goodies. Also modded the airbox and adj. the mix screw. New Clutch, and new thrust washers are due in by Friday.

Re-painted (rattlecan) all the white to negro (thats PC for black )

I found some marine grade vinyl, gonna go sort through the guys stash and see what colors he has... Blac... whoops Negro, Blue or ???? any ideas?

Test ride around a buddys farm the afternoon we picked it up ( why I am NOT ATGATT).

This damned DR is a freakin' wheelie machine I tell ya.
See If I cannot get some wheelie pix this weekend. A group of us *may* go to Uhwarrie this weekend. WooT!

Im a budget biker.....you guys have some nice stuff.

My first bike (bought it this August), still have it

1980 KZ1000 - Kerker 4 into 1, K&N pod filters, lowered, drag bars, some stiff as hell performance clutch........not exactly a sport bike but its pretty fast, Im sure it was impressive back in its day.

My new-er bike - 2001 Yamaha V-Star.....short of the drag bars, backrests and a few little bobbles its stock.

Nice bike.
Now clean those K&N airfilters and fix that oil leak from the cam/head.
And get rid of that stepped cruiser seat.

Damn your observant.

Actually those filters were cleaned about a month before that picture....they still kinda have a red tint to them.

Its leaking a bit of oil out of the cam plugs and the front of the valve cover.  Not enough that it gets on the rider but it does get on the plug wires and leave the engine a little dirty.

I just put a little in ride, rinse and repeat.....doesnt bother me much.

Always liked DRs - paint looks good - it'll look better when you get to the frame.  Post some pics when you get the seat done - be interested in seeing.

recovered the seat today, not the perfect job, but well enough to get me by until I get new plastic.
Only had enough juice in the cam for one pic... so deal with it

Here's my 07 GSXR750 the day I bought it.  I had the Two Brothers can put on at the dealership.  I can't say I care for the looks and noise of this exhaust anymore, I have an Akrapovic slip on ordered and can't wait for that to come in.

This is my 07 S2R1000.  I only put 700miles on it and I am currently trying to sell it.  I simply like the 750 better and it makes no sence to have both.

Here are mine: I made a couple into motivator pics. The yellow Honda F2 is gone, The silver LowGlide is one I built, its sold to. The Sportster, (88ci, 100hp, to many goodies to list is for sale), The Ducati I have and the Black VTR 1000 is currently undergoing a engine rebuild due to a lowside I had at the track in Sept.

I recently upgraded to a K7 750 as well.  Mine is the dark blue/black color.  I obviously don't have to tell you how awesome the bike is.

I spent an afternoon in his front yard trading back and fourth and I was hooked! The next weekend I had one in my garage.

It is a 2008 Suzuki DRZ 70. The Honda CRX 50s are good too. I've been riding for a long time and this little bike is easily the most fun I've ever had on two wheels.

Holy crap!

Replaced the cam and lifters every 45,000 miles. I work at a Harley dealership and update all the time. This is a 1991 police bike bought new off the floor. De-copped it right away, removed all the cop wiring, saddlebags, seat, switches and crap like that. Bought a retrofit chrome front end that Harley made years ago that allowed the older bikes the 2000 and up frt. brakes. Installed a new old style ring gear on a new style clutch and changed the comp. sprocket to lower the rpm way down. It runs like 3100 rpm at  75 mph or so. Also added Harleys new easy pull clutch spring, ball and ramps kit. Original belt. Bought a brand new take off complete 2006 exhaust system off ebay for like $20.00 so that is updated to the current style muffler attachments. the tour pack was something off of an old wreck I had painted years ago and was dropped by one of the guys at work...so now I've got an 07' tour pack complete that I will paint white and transfer all my stuff over to. Also ridding the bike of the old style AMP connectors and replacing them with deustch connectors. It sounds like a cobbed together pile, but is not. All is perfect and done right. This bike ALWAYS gets me hom , and is not uncommon to do a 2000 ile weekend now and then. P.S. I finished 2nd in the world for Harleys ABC's of touring in 1991. Just happened to do 60,000 miles in that one year working two jobs and living in Wis.

Love the Busa You gotta tell us more about the turbo set up, what kind of boost are you pushing with it? Is it intercooled? Did you do it yourself/buy it that way/have someone else put it on?
