God damn it.

He was so great. I argued with him so many times about religion and it even got ugly sometimes. I remember one time there was a discussion about if the persecution against Christians got to the point where it was clearly the final battle that I knew his and my rifles would be pointed the same direction despite our differences. He seemed to appreciate that so much. Even though we disagreed about so much. After the heated talk would subside he'd be so gracious and reconciliatory about it all. I wish I could have met him in person and shook his hand.
