First off, thank you all for helping to make GUNSTRUCTION a success! We have had fantastic traffic since the initial beta release and are proud to finally release the first official version! We have been in touch with a number of manufacturers who will be joining the part library soon. Some of them are companies you have been asking for and others are smaller companies with exciting products. At this time we will be focusing on adding parts, bug fixes, and additional tweaks to improve the system. Additionally, we will announce (shortly!) the next phase of the project, which will include our next platform.
As part of this project, we have been working on a web part library which will allow expanded data to be shared along with the ability to rate and review parts, bundles (complete lowers/uppers), and complete rifles. Part of this feature will include the ability to review your rifle saves and checklist of parts as well as providing dealer links to purchase these parts as you work through your build. You will also find the ability to compare part data side by side within a specific category. (For example, match up all stocks or specific ones and see detailed information stacked up against each other!) There's so much more to come, we can't ruin the surprises! As with most of what we do, our goal is long term support and growth to ensure we provide you with the very best tools. (Hmmm, wouldn't it be cool to include tools with your build so you know what you will need to build it?  ) With all that said, here's the update breakdown for the release!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We’ve updated the core platform that GUNSTRUCTION runs on which should increase performance for users, as well as allowing us to do some more cool stuff behind the scenes. We’ve added the ability to build 9mm, 300 Blk, 6.8, 6.5 and .22lr AR15's. We’ll be adding more parts to those conversions in the future as well, further increasing your options UI Overhaul- We’ve updated a lot of the buttons and fonts used in the User Interface for better usability. MOBILE VERSIONS! The team has been hard at work for the last few months preparing an iPhone and iPad release of GUNSTRUCTION. A lot of the updates were to better support this. App will be out in a few weeks! New Parts: Sharps Relia-Bolt Black Rain Ordnance Quad Rail Black Rain Ordnance Modular Handguard Black Rain Ordnance Upper Black Rain Ordnance Lower Fortis Red Brake Defense Import Solutions Curved Foregrip Inforce Vortex Viper PST 6-24×50 FFP Rogers Super-Stoc Stock Rogers Magwell Grip Aimpoint Scope 30mm Scope Rings Smith Enterprises Vortex QD M4DC And finally… 9MM Conversion Parts!! 6.8 Conversion Parts!! 6.5 Conversion Parts!! .22lr Conversion Parts!! 300 BlackOut Conversion Parts!! Each of these includes bolts, carriers, barrels, muzzle devices, magwell blocks and anything else required for the conversion! |

Just tried it! AWESOME!!! But it needs a 5" barrel and DDLES lowers for 9mm.

looks pretty good, a few issues with free float handguards though.
Tried putting on a DD Omega 9, still indicates that I need a handguard cap (highlighted yellow). Also it says the same rail is incompatible with a LaRue low-profile gas block on a DD 11.5" barrel with carbine gas. You should put the KAK tube and SB15 brace on there considering the popularity of these with pistol builds |
