A Tudor pelagos. Hopefully next week however I’m having a terrible time deciding on the 42 or the 39. I have tried both on and still can’t decide.

This came today.  Kind of a Homage to the SKX 009 which I guess was the gateway series into watch collecting.  I just recently got it watches and missed out on these.  I pretty much have been wearing cheap G Shocks since the mid 80’s, and my idea of a nice watch was a Fossil Blue I bought in the late 90’s.

Anyway, I like the looks of this watch and didn’t want to spend big bucks on an original SKX.

Thanks.  Sent you an email.  I don't have enough posts over there to be able to contact the seller.

I have never seen the Manta dial in that configuration.

Forgot this thread.

I bought a Pelagos 39 last month and now looking up other Tudors. Not anytime soon, but interested in the Black Bay 54 or Black Bay Chrono.

Just picked this up off the EE.

Wanted a solar to complement my Turtle, and the Citizen just ain’t doing it.

Guess I’ll put the Citizen up on the EE shortly.

I got the Frigid Willard a few months ago. I love it.

My next watch is going to be a Vaer Field C5 Solar.

Solid watch. Needs an Uncle Seiko GL831 on it though.

Some neat watches!  For some reason I'll spend big money on guns or knives, but I'm cheap when it comes to watches.  I like fancy watches, but I'm so hard on jewelry that it would be foolhardy for me to spend big money on a watch that I would wreck, loose, or worry about it being stolen.

No recent pics but it's still one of my favorites. IMO, the 6309-704x style case is one of the classic watch designs of all time and the newer versions carry on the tradition well. And the Manta dial is very cool.
