Honda Pioneer 520 I bought a couple weeks ago.

Have about 10 miles on it so far, but it seems to be exactly what I was looking for.   Very small and maneuverable.

Check out Giloman for the clutch and tune.

Already have the Gilomen tune . Did that at 10 miles on the machine. Also added a HW Belt  , Rollers in the secondary and one of his washers in the primary ( just to prevent belt slap ) . Just didn't know if you were running stock on the tracks or a kit.

Cool. I sometimes miss the 50” I used to have. There’s a few places I can’t access without one.

At least you didn’t have to buy a trailer for it.

I enjoy my 2015 Pioneer 500. The 500 and 520 are little work horses. I put a Strong Made front bumper and a 3500 pound winch on mine along with a Tusk snow plow. I also have a windshield roof and back panel. I also suggest you check out the HondaSXS Club forums too. There is a member that sells rubber heat shields that goes under and behind the seats that really helps with the heat and also cuts way down on dust too.

https://hondasxs.com/threads/trigger-shield.31915/

Here is my 500

love this time of year, not to hot...and the trails thin out. Been decent year, Should be rolling over 2500 miles this season, 1500 this season alone.

Nice! We average 1500-2000 a year. This year was low as Utah isn't a great place to ride compared to Idaho.

Sold a Yamaha Rhino for the Club Car. Both glorified golf carts, but the club car fits our needs so much better.

This thread needs some snow.  My Yamaha did some work on a elk hunt, but the snow pushed most of the elk down.

Miserable, yet epic hunt.

I always wanted to hunt elk in the snow. Then I got a week of hunting elk in the snow. Now I don’t really want to ever hunt in the snow.
So were you able to get down to a hunt able location?

No, I ran for home.   Just got done unpacking and drying it all out, now I’m repacking the truck for day trip hunts.  I’m only an hour from some lower elevation access.

And, since it’s a pic thread…

The ol defender took a stick up through the floorboard (through a seam, no damage to the floor, just the battery and securement strap thing) right through the battery.
Crazy thing was, it still started the machine and we rode it around for another day and a half.
