Going to be a rough mud year. No idea when the high ground will be open, no way American Fork will open on Memorial day.

I need some better places to ride, 5 mile and the little moab area get boring fast.

If you get down towards the Kanab area, let me know.  Ran Peekaboo and part of Hog Canyon last weekend.  Was mostly dry.  The Barracks trail is open, but with the snow run off, I'm staying out of there for now as there have been multiple vehicles stuck in the multiple river crossings.  That should subside here in the next month I would think.

Nice,  I posted my sxs above,  no tracks on it but I have had tracks on the Kawasaki Prairie 360 since 2018.  Use it for farm, maple syrup, sled dog training and trail grooming.  These tracks have about 5000 miles on them with no problems.

Agreed, I put them on My RZR Trail S last spring. My dad had them and raved about how much less shit got he and the side of his machine got hit with. I thought (still do) they were not the most aesthetically pleasing but got a set anyway. I have zero regrets

Quite ugly, but wow are they effective. I was going to pull them off now that the mud is subsiding but I dont think I will. Keeping the high speed rocks off us is nice.

Good old Maxey's Cycle. That's where I had my first dealer job back in the mid 1990's.

Fun to see since I was deeply involved in the development of that series of SxS's. I helped develop Wolverine, Viking, XYZ, and R-Max (as well as the ATVs) before I went onto other product lines.

I've noticed all the SxS are CVT, no YXZ1000 in 4 pages. Is there a reason?

You haven't looked very close.  Honda Pioneer is DCT.  Dual clutch Automatic/Manual transmission.  5 or 6 speed depending on the model.  Mine is 5 speed and usually run it manual.  Shifting is smoother and at the point I want it.

The Pioneers are 5 speed, Talons 6.  There were 2 pioneer and 2 talons on the ride.  89 total vehicles. There is no Honda CVT.  Honda may not be for everyone but they are a good machine with a real transmission.  Older ones were manual. The new ones automatic or manual with the flip of a switch.  Paddle shifting.  They run quieter than most of the others.  I have run Honda, Polaris and Kawasaki and although all are good I like Honda best.

Never owned a YXZ, but the owners I have talked to said that the rear suspension isn't up to par.  Something about the geometry they didn't like.

However, those were dune guys.  They do seem to fare well on short course stuff.

Just traded in my 10 year old, no frills Polaris Ranger Crew for a new Can-am Defender Max Limited.  The heat/AC will sure be nice (especially the heat in the winter).  Didn't get home until after dark though.

Thanks Spud!  Was 18 here yesterday morning - took the dogs out for a ride for a bit. Once that heat gets cranked up, man does it provide heat!  Dogs approved of the ride change.  Also have to say, the Zbroz shocks I had added make a huge difference in ride quality on this vs my old Polaris.

They aren't. But the dealer can install an aftermarket set.  Will see how just the heat goes first.
