Just because it's a BBQ gun doesn't mean it isn't a working gun. The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame Museum is full of nickled, engraved and ivory-gripped 1911's that were used to deadly effect.

My favorite two.  A S&W .357 Magnum, two tone Class A engraved and a Model 29 two tone Class A engraved.  Both shipped to Texas in 1959.
