The kid was really good. You can tell he listens closely to Johnny Cash, a lot, to get the nuances.

I got a bit of a chuckle because the voice doesn’t seem to match up with the body. But he is a pretty good singer. He’s sure not embarrassing himself up on stage.

Exackary the point! Glad somebody gets it! (Ok, FINE! Hispanic, not Asian). Either way, that's what was so funny about it, because that voice should NOT be coming out of that 15 Y.O. kid, which is probably why so many people in the audience were laughing too! But his singing was extremely impressive in my opinion. I hope he goes places and makes a mint!

At least a couple people got the reason for the post. I sure didn't think a voice like that would come out of a little kid. I guess I did ruse at the kid's ethnicity.

Now that was funny. But, even so, I’m not really laughing at that guy… Well, technically I am but it’s not meant to be derisive laughter. I’m laughing at him in a good natured way. He’s obviously not a native English speaker, in fact he may not speak much English at all. (and is just mimicking the words to the song) And he’s still doing a pretty decent amateur performance. Besides, I consider it something of a compliment when someone from another country goes to that much effort to imitate a piece of American culture.
