why did the brown clown open the strategic oil reserves for, 60 million barrels?
wtf ?, oh, that will last a day or 2 |
|
It's all part of the Demtard Default Scenario - when all else is failing politically, open up the Strategic Oil Reserve.
|
|
"Look! Government is the answer! We lowered fuel prices for you!"
|
|
Wow. Great use of our Strategic Reserves.
Spend all of our money until we're so broke we can't pay attention and then use up all of our reserves we have for bad times. Sounds like a great plan for the future. Keep up the good work POTUS the Clown. |

i know ElectricSheep556 , they do think we are this dumb, i'm new here but i I'm not liken' where this may end up with the sheeple, no offense intended...

Nothing he has ever done has made any sense..... thats because he doesnt know what he is doing. his concentration is on his golf game. every once in a while he looks up and notices something. and makes some dumb ass comment or decision. he's made two or three in the last several days. if he's doing it for the election he's too early. no one will remember, the price of oil will be up higher that it is now before the election. and there's a good bit of potential bad shit that could happen, greece defaults, the euro crumbles, the ekonomy is probably get worse too. if i was him, id retire to academia and the lecture circuit and let the hildabeast crush the sorry assed republican contenders in 2012. |

Why? His bag of tricks is nearly empty, that's why.
This is a desperate president doing desperate things to try and jumpstart the economy. |

Simple, so there is less available when it will really be needed.
|
|
Look past the moment and figure out if oil hits another record high, how will he benefit from not having any reserves? What emergency act and legislation will he use/enact to 'help' us recover then?
|

Quoted: Quoted: Re-election bid. Why didn't he do it @ $120/barrel? When it was $120, 2012 was still farther away. |

Over about the last week:
1. Senate votes to cut ethanol subsidies. 2. AARP drops opposition to cutting SS benefits. 3. Obama releases strategic oil reserves with oil prices trending downward. Could there be some panic inside the beltway? |
|
While he is a complete amateur, he is a professional clueless idiot.

See, this is actually complicated and it starts with the Ben Bernanke. You see, yesterday or so, the Ben Bernanke off the cuff said he did not know why the market was experiencing a downturn the last month or two. Now, there are only two possibilities here, either the Ben Bernanke is stupid, or he does not want to say what we all know. $4 gasoline causes consumers to spend less money on stuff that is not gasoline. If they don't spend money on other stuff, then people who make or sell something that is not gasoline make less money. This means that they are not as likely to hire people to make stuff that people won't be buying, nor will they invest in new equipment or research to make new stuff that people won't be buying. This is the secret here, we are an oil based society, and when the oil costs more, we spend less on everything else. Thus Obummer released some oil to make it appear as though he was actually doing something.
If the Ben Bernanke does not know this, he should be fired. Since I'm sure he does, he should be called out as a liar. |

I am not a doom and gloomer but I think many people are having reality checks about the state of the economy. I think the oil reserves is just try to tie his name to the decline of gas prices. |
|
What's worse is we are carrying on an illegal war with an oil producing country, helping to diminish supply, and at the same time using our reserves to keep prices down.
cue the "The stupid, it burns" jpg. |

I would rather have this country ran by a bunch of 5th graders than these....
|

He's too stupid to get anything. Seriously obama is so fucking stupid it hurts.
|

Well, whenever the people in charge, no matter who they are or what they are in charge of, make a move that makes no sense to me and has no political gain to them that I can see. I tend to believe they either know something I don't or have a plan that I am not privy to. In this case, I don't know, could it be knowledge of an impending military action by someone in the world that might upset the price of oil?

Because he is a dumb fuck cock sucking wookie loving bastard.

He's courting the Amish vote. You know, with all the gas they use in their cars and tractors and......oh........wait.......never mind.

The Wh spokes person was trying to tell the public we are in a crisis to justify two days later opening the Strategic oil reserves for a political boost.

my guess is so when our economy, and the AAA rating possibly take a belly-flop soon, there will be little or no reserve to be fallen back to. $15 a gallon, riots over food, marshal law, suspend 2012 election....etc. just an opinion.like krauthhammer says- watch what he does, not what he says.

Here's why:
Re-elections speeches: I lowered the price of gas I caught OBL I saved the economy I saved your job I gave you affordable health care I lowered your taxes. I saved the constitution I ended the war I (fill in the lie) |
