What are some some boozes that you have had from around the world that we should know about? A buddy of mine brought this shit called kookeloid (sp) from viet nam that was some type of rice liquor. It was in a beat up plastic bottle and it tasted awful but was somehow compelling. I drank about a pint of this shit and don't rightly recall how the evening ended. Unfortunately my brain blacked out before my body quit acting like an ass. I also had some rum tasting stuff from Thailand I think, that had a little viper drowned in the bottled. once had a budweiser with a cig butt in it...........it was my cig..........exotic sucked |

I may or may not have returned from Croatia with a small collection of homemade rakija, made from and flavored with local fruits, herbs, and grasses of the region.
Since I theoretically do not actually posses said bottles, I can't post any pictures. But I can post a picture of this:  |

Absinthe. Drink enough - I have - and it will change your world. Brought a bunch back from Spain. Stashed it in my squaw's backpack going through customs. It was well worth the hassle she could have faced.

That South African stiff Amarula Cream is pretty good over ice. Made from the marula fruit or something there, it is good over ice or chilled, similar to a Baileys maybe but a unique flavor.

I still have a bottle of Blue Curacao from my dad's 1960s/70s stash that made it through college with me.... it's orange flavored, but blue. That's not the cool part though; it's named BOLS.
So, yes, whenever we wanted a laugh, we started drinking.... THE BLUE BOLS!
