A few years ago I participated in a thread arguing about Kilts and how they were either the epitome or antithesis of masculinity. I fell on the "kilts are awesome and manly" side. Still do. I sincerely hope this does break down into a shitstorm like that other thread did, if only to have the "True Scotsmen" from both sides of the debate get into an awesome flame war about unbifurcated clothing.

That's gay as a dick sliding in and out of a man's ass. Care to tell him and his boys that? http://i961.photobucket.com/albums/ae94/redfish86/braveheart_zps31aac379.jpg Ok it's as gay as two dicks doing that, at the same time. |

I know 5.11 generally designs their clothing so that you can easily conceal a firearm.
So, I really have to wonder if they designed this to work with inner thigh garter-holsters. |

I ordred mine @ $60, that's half the price of a utilikilt when I last checked. |

Any of you super macho skirt-wearing guys know who sells a good one? |

Haha. I actually considered it. But I think they just did a short run of them. I was checking the other day and it looks like if you didn't get in on the intital order you are SOL. I wouldn't wear it in public. It looked comfy for working out in my woodshop though.

In that period "no Scots ... wore belted plaids (let alone kilts of any kind). from wikipedia |

Anyone who has worn a kilt will tell you that they are far more comfortable than pants that bind up around your junk no matter how big they are. Complete freedom of movement, and your junk never gets abused by the seam in the crotch of the trousers.

I just got back from a 3 day fishing trip with my dad on the MN Canada border, did damned good catchin Crapies BTW. Had a shipment from 5.11 waiting for me, yup, my 5.11 Tactical Kilt in black. Quite comfy I might add. |

Skirt Yeah, but they called it "tactical" so its ok. If they slapped the "tactical" label on pantyhose, every tier 1 basement dweller would be showing off their tactical control top "kit". |

IDK, a tactical kilt might really offer some advantages. Ease of movement, good ventilation, and you can flash your junk at tangos while giving them a wolf stare. Like Rodney Carrington says, "You can scare a big dude with a little dick". The WTF moment they have gives you time to TCB. |

Lots of cross dressers have to come to terms with their desire to wear their wife's clothese here....
