From earlier this year - A lightweight version of that monstrous 155mm cannnon they developed for the Zumwalts (all 3 of them!) for the Burke Flt III's. Of course, since it can't use standard 155 ammo and charges (I think) why not make it 203 mm (or 16 in, for you battleship fetishists)

Of course, they could also look at the Oto 127/64, though it doesn't look like a huge jump on the current 5 in gun:
