From earlier this year - A lightweight version of that monstrous 155mm cannnon they developed for the Zumwalts (all 3 of them!) for the Burke Flt III's. Of course, since it can't use standard 155 ammo and charges (I think) why not make it 203 mm (or 16 in, for you battleship fetishists)

71 NM of range would be really nice in lots of ship v. ship engagements.

Rather have it shooting land targets. Hell the Kenyans just did in Somalia; we just need the Excalibur guidance and enough tubes. And yes, that range is a nice advantage.
