Great show and I watched it mainly for the featured "gun of the week." Unfortunately too many politicians in DC and sheeple in general took the guns and their use as gospel in the real world.

Finished it on Netflix a month ago great show. Was a baby when it was on tv originally. Loved seeing some of the stars of today when they first started out.

I was a kid when it was on. Dad would let me watch it if Mom was gone and I loved it. I watch them now, and its still great TV. And I love the 80's cars, guns, music and clothes.

I used to watch it as a kid. Then I saw it on the Centric channel and started to relive my youth (they also have the A-Team and only have these shows because a black guy is a main or supporting character - no joke). My brother and his wife bought me the 5 season DVD set after they heard me constantly make references to Miami Vice to their son.

Huge fan of Michael Mann's directorial style. What a great series. Manhunter (prequel to Silence of the Lambs from 1986) is classic Michael Mann and shouldn't be missed.

I have no idea what the issue is, but its hard to get that episode. Hulu only had it for about 1 month, even youtube clips are hard to find. Grew up as a kid in Miami back in those days. Brother and I were fishing once and Don Johnson stopped to fish with us...
Miami (South Florida) sure isn't the same anymore. I really miss those days and that time down here. Such a different place. I can feel it at times, it just had this different feeling. |

That and Evan are two of the greats for me. Definitely Miami - whenever I watch that one I actually think I can feel the sweltering heat of south FL. Great directing, cinematography - a show ahead of its time (other than the clothes, they defined the time)
