130's & 141's, numerous C27 jumps in Panama.  UH-1's while in a NG LRS Det, Blackhawks and Chinooks on occasion both M & U types.  While at Bragg did all the unusual birds, CASA's, Sherpas and a C47

Crazyist jump other than the one that put me out of the Army was chasing a FARP pallet off the ramp of a MC130 on a blind drop on Venado DZ in Panama.  Bird had an electrical fire inbound and the FARP went into the water as well as most of us.......

US Basic, needed 2 more JM's to get my Senior wings

Now Army, but as a Marine I jumped out of C-130's well over 1000 times. Never really counted to be honest. The worst was when it was cold and my frozen feet hit the ground. We all know how much that hurts. Would have hurt like a bitch if the plane had been flying at the time.

Or does maintenance jumping out off the ramp or CED not count? If only paratroop door, then yeah, but I usually used the CED

Thats pretty much it IIRC.  I did have at least 10-12 jumps get scratched due to weather conditions.  It stinks to do the whole Green Ramp cluster-f%&k for 6 hours only to have it all cancelled.

They were just bringing the C-17 into Airborne ops when I got out in 1997.  Never got to jump out of that one.

Funny as how I always felt my jump count as not very note worthy, in retrospect 30 jumps before being promoted to E-4 seems better. Sure wish I could go back and do it all agian could have had 3 times that number in the same time. Sigh, youth is truly wasted on inexperienced young.

Funny how that always turns into Reserve pilots when the story gets told...I guess the two F16 pilots that were cleared to land in the back of a C130 by the tower at POPE AFB (I guess the ATC were Reserve too huh) Were all Reserve pilots???
