with no access to armorer. Have to forage for food. Locals are cannibals.
I like my AR , just thinking maybe ............. |
Ill take a hooker as long as the local cannibals supply the blow
Well I imagine in a third world country Ak-47 ammo is easier to come by, so ak.
Personally I think (AR)kansas would be better than AlasKa(AK). lol
probably an AR. I wouldn't complain if I ended up with the AK, though.
AK. Locals are probably using the same ammo, so I could theoretically replenish my ammo if I had to. And hopefully in the jungle you're not shooting too terribly far. Bullets have some heft to em, to boot.
Either one will allow me to put a bullet in my head and save myself from some more horrendous death at the hands of the natives, the animals, or the fucking plants.
AR. They're reliable. Spent a year in Iraq, never did anything more than knock the crud off and oil it. Never failed.
My AR15's? Never clean them. They never fail. |
As much as it pains me to say... a ak can be filthy and my toe cheese can lube it. We aren't talking accuracy I hope

With no cleaning supplies: AK
With a bottle of CLP And a cleaning kit: AR |
Whichever you're likely to find ammo for.
If you can't hit inside a hundred yards with either, just fucking smoke yourself. Burpees for thirty minutes and then reevaluate. |
Again with this ?
The gun that does not need a bag of spare parts. |
Definitely AK. mud may jam your precious AR but you can use mud to clean the AK

AR with nitrided barrel. That leaves only a few noncritical pieces to rust. The whole AK is going to rust except for the furniture and chromed surfaces.

AK...will not rot.......ammo everywhere....even cannibals got AK ammo..

If I don't have access to lube and cleaning supplies, it's the AK all the way. No contest.
AK. In the jungle at short ranges, this is an easy choice*. *I have lots of AKs and ARs. Current bug out setup is an AR. |

With an AK, you don't have to worry about losing small parts such as the cam pin and the bolt carrier pin |
AK with the possibility of replenishing ammo from locals I have to gun down from being eaten

AR, slightly less rust prone. Of course if its tyipcal of the third world, AK wins for parts and ammo availibility.
Fuck that shit. I want something I can kill a Jaguar with if Im stuck in the jungle for 3 years.

Even with a AR or AK I would use it as a last resort for getting food in the thick tropical jungle. I would use snares/traps dead falls / fish etc! 10.5 M4 commando w/ aimpoint |
