Like a couple grand would be my guess depending on how well it is put together.  There isn't much "collector value" so it will be a cool driver

My buddy has an M37 that had been in the 6 Days War.  Actually had TWO different coats of Sinai Gray we discovered during restoration.  And an Israeli spare tire plus an Israeli phone token stuck in between the steering gear box and frame.

We restored it color wise but still have not done the markings.  It was a basket case when he got it, 25 hours of welding and weeks of body prep got it looking like new issue.

Tagged for updates, looks like a really fun project.

Now you need to do a Sinai halftrack.

Very cool. Do you have a cost breakdown you can share. I'd love to restore one similar some time in the distant future.

I worked  on a M38A1 not long ago and what NAPA didn't have, thejeep.com did have.

I like the pics so far, any completed pics?

Looking for a buyer you say?

What are you thinking of asking for it?   Is it time for me to go on a road trip?   3 hours or so and I'm there.

Napa for most mechanical stuff. Amazon has a lot but I know wit Napa I am getting good stuff.

For militry specific stuff, a lot I get from Daryl Bensinger up in PA, he is a great source of parts and knowledge.

An M37 or an M715 are on my short list of SHTF vehicle projects.  Your Jeep is freakin' sweet.

How much do the old jeeps like that bring? I would love to have one, but I find it hard to believe they're only a few grand like an above poster mentioned. If they truly are I'll probably have one...

I am probably going to mark this one around $6500 all said and done, and that will include an IDF helmet, some field gear, ammo cans etc to go with it.

The really expensive ones are unmolested WWII stuff because they are just rare now due to the demand of collectors and the early off road guys who could get them cheap and motor swap and lift them. I got a 1950 M38 off ebay that had a very nice resto done to it back in the early 90s for 12k.  Needed some minor touch up and it came with pick up truck full of spare parts.  The deals are out there.  A sugestion though is if you want to have a driver that looks like a military jeep you would be better served to buy a CJ and just "fake it" then try to get a mil jeep.  It would be less expensive.
