Sharpe's Rifles,(the movie series w/Sean Bean) his NCO, SGT Harper uses a Nock 7 barrel volley gun as his PDW.  I like it!

Read the Sharpe's Rifles series. Sharpe's sergeant (can't remember his name) carries one. I like to think it's effect is a good approximation. Timed correctly, one volley could end a good sized charge, even if the recipients of the volley knew it had to be reloaded. Devastating to morale I imagine.

IIRC there's someone out there making a copy of the Henry Nock 7 barrel (think Sharpe's series) naval gun.... .50 I believe
