I always assumed Magic was an "undercover brother", due to all of the innuendo when he went public with his diagnosis. My family Dr. and I had a conversation about HIV when I was getting tested in my promiscuous youth. He told me that I didn't need to worry unless I was having unprotected gay sex, or sharing needles. He said that my main concerns should be herpes and hepatitis. Apparently that is common knowledge, but offensive to many people.
