So John Walker Lindh, a civilian, sits in a prison (which I totally agree with) and this guy can voluntarily desert from his unit and he is not charged by the Military? 6 lives lost looking for him and who knows what information he may have given the Taliban that may have cost other lives? No UCMJ article 85 charge (Desertion), article 86 (AWOL), article 99 (Misbehavior before the enemy) or article 104 (aiding the enemy),.
Do they still even have the Soldier's Creed? |

Apparently, so far, no connection has been made between Koch Bro's and the release of 5 Taliban terrorist leaders from GITMO.
 
[ETA] Harry Reid just said that he was glad we got rid of those 5 guys. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) had an unusual response to the release of five Taliban detainees in exchange for Bowe Bergdahl, the “captured” American soldier who may have actively collaborated with the enemy: "I'm glad to get rid of these five people."

We appear to really cater to the Qatari's based on the time I spent there. Ensure you enforce all the traffic laws on base, except for if a Qatari is driving. We had those assholes driving 80-90 mph all over base, cutting people off and on some occasions damn near hitting people that were walking. Wasn't a damn thing we could do about it.
