Is this the worst candy ever? My son gave me a 3/4s filled box and said I could have them. They taste awful and stick to your teeth like a mouthful of flavored Poligrip. |

I freaking love em, but not sure why. Maybe it's the texture? There's definitely a big difference in getting some that haven't been on the shelf too long.
My wife says they suck and taste like wax. She calls them Juju-poos

Grew up on them. My candy of choice cause it took forever to eat them make sure they are fresh and they are chewy. Older ones are hard as rocks.

I think they were used to test the Waterpik devices when they were developed. They then added color and sold them as candy.

Love the damn things.
When they are half chewed and starting to get good and sticky, it's the best time to chuck them from the balcony into peoples hair...
They also stick to the projector screen real well. The local theatre stopped selling them for this reason, back in the 80's. Yes, us kids were shitheads. The flavors have changed, and I think they are using aspertame instead of sugar nowdays. Dang shame, the lime wasn't half bad. |

You're supposed to let them sit in your mouth while drinking water. Put one in your cheek and it adds nice flavor.
