I was originally wanting to go with an FDE Daniel Defense MK18 rail for my SBR, but being they are so hard to find, I decided to go with something different and I am looking at the Geissele MK4 rail.  The regular one, not keymod.  What is everyone's input on this rail?  Do you think it would be a good fill in for the DD rail?  If not, what else should I be looking at?  If so, is $275 a good price for the Geissele?
Thanks

Awesome rail, super secure, light, easy to install, everything you need, nothing you don't. 275 is a good price.

Cool deal...I went ahead and ordered a MK4 in sand color.  Is sand color and DDC the same?

Great Rail, I have a MKII, solid, well made, comes with all the installation tools, very easy to install compared to other rails, and superb engineering.  Should have gotten one sooner. Feels really good in your hand.

Well I guess I know which rail I'll use when I finally get around to a pistol build...

9.5-inch MK4 Mod 1 owner here.  Probably one of the easiest and cleanest installing rail / barrel nut systems out there.  Lightweight, solid and feels natural in the hand.   Plus it's a Geissele product.  Bling bling.

Better get one before you can't find them anymore.

Lighter, then the first 2, looks better, and is the most comfotable rail I have ever held.

Not to mention the $25,000+ Bill Geissele has donated to two different very sick Arfcommers in the past 8 months.

Trading place pawn has some...they have one more MK 4 in sand available...they are on sale too and free shipping...there is $10 off coupon out there too...can't remember what it is now.

ETA:  The $10 off code is "10off".

The gold standard of free float fore ends as of right now.

The 9.5" clears a Surefire can on a 10.5" barrel by right around a quarter inch.

I really need to take a new picture...
