One of my bathrooms has a standard size toilet and I want to upgrade it to a long bowl toilet. I'm just looking for a good quality standard type long bowl in white color for a reasonable price. Where should I go to buy a toilet? Home Depot? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions from those with experience. Thanks!

I picked up one on sale at Home Depot for just at $100.00

Replacing the standard one with this one was easy and quick.

Only tool I needed (IIRC) was a crescent wrench and maybe a screwdriver.

Lowes has one that is advertised as being able to flush a bucket of golf balls...It's awesome, only toilet I don't have to flush 4/5 times.

American Standard.

$200+ Kohler or a Toto.
Either will take down a log that would clog a mortal toilet.

For $3K, I'd hope so.

Total cost was about $900. Yes, that is a lot for a toilet, but using it saved us a ton of space in that bathroom. And it is really, really nice.
