Formula One sale near. (WSJ subscription required)
The long-awaited sale of the Formula One may finally be nearing the finish line.
A number of bidders including British broadcaster Sky PLC are circling Formula One and a winner of the auction could emerge in the next few weeks, according to people familiar with the matter. A deal could value the racing series at around $8 billion or more. Other possible buyers participating in the process include a team of Discovery Communications Inc. and John Malone’s Liberty Global PLC, the people said. View Quote |

If the redbull had a half decent power unit they would beat everyone |

I keep waiting for Hamilton to pop up in one of the modeling ads I keep seeing on here lately.
He's a far cry from Hunt. Please let's not see another Merc 1-2 tomorrow. |
|
I hope this race is more exciting than last week.
They were saying that attendance is not so good. GET A CLUE BERNIE! Here WE GO! |

Well,l there goes Hamilton. Nico taking a dive? My feed is about 5 minutes behind. He seems to have fallen apart recently. I wonder why. Some of it is probably in his head but some of it seems ot be technical. Merc. playing games? I dunno know but it sure seems like they are favoring Ham. |

It is hard to believe just how boring this shit is. I wake up excited to watch racing and a few minutes in I'm browsing eBay and wondering WTF.

Not deserved, especially after Verstappen's moves on Kimi last race.
|
|
"I was at full steering lock" hahaha
he was getting his shit pushed in by the kid and he wanted to put him into the fence. He's lucky he did not get a worse penalty. Given its not his first time doing the same exact same time they should have. |
|
Nico's main enemy is himself.
That commentator that stated Lewis deserves more respect than the other drivers while on the track needs reamed with a tire gun. |
|
I'm glad I DVR this shit and watch it later, at least I can fast forward it |

Yeah he was a full lock after Verstappen was off the track I hate Hamilton more than any race driver, but Rosberg lacks balls, and folds up like a chair under pressure. |

Sucks that the run through the forest is no more on this track. Hockenheim quit being a track in 2002. Did anyone hear will buxton say the cheapest ticket for this weekend there was 280 euro. With the exchange that's like 300 buck or more right? Holy fucking christ You'd think with only about half the seats full it would be a bit cheaper. I didn't realize that F1 was having trouble selling tickets. |

Most of motorsports is right now, but it's more pronounced for F1. F1 has lost 1/3 of it's TV audience since 2008, mostly because it's a bullshit series full of Eurofags that can't speak English very well that always seems to be dominated by a handful of teams and drivers. Meanwhile IndyCar ratings have been way up this year. |

Just wanted to add a big "fuck Mercedes" and "fuck Hamilton" before I leave again.

I'm only a part-time/casual F1 fan.
Why all the Hamilton hate here on arfcom? Serious question. I don't follow the series closely enough to know |

Germany was not a terrible race.
BTW, HUGE tech blog post incoming this week |
