Happy Sunday!
No knife pic today. 111 in the pocket since Thursday. Spring clean up the last few days. Like a good retired person I gave up and hired someone to rake my backyard. Getting to arthritic for this shit! Riding mower ready to go and removed the snow blower from the tractor. Need to clean and mount it on. Relaxing today, will get back at it tomorrow. Canadian geese are a problem in our area. One local condo complex has a nice lake and attractive green spaces and has not done anything to discourage geese from nesting around the lake for the past 20 years. Shockingly, there is a sizable population of aggressive geese that are attacking the residents trying to enjoy the lake and side walks around it. They have hired a guy to come chase them out and I saw him using a green visible laser at night to point on the ground near them. They Freaked Right The Fuck Out. He stated he believes the light resembles a predator's eyes at night and that it triggers a fight/flight response. He does not point the laser at the geese, but rather on the ground near them. I found that to be an interesting response. Might give it a whirl? |
