Their tacos are underwhelming in a taco bell sort of way, but it's not every day you can get fast food tater tots and dip them in nacho cheese sauce. So I was excited to get eat there for the tots, I bought some long forgotten taco and a large tater tots with nacho cheese sauce. I drove back to my hotel, went inside, turned on the A/C and HBO, kicked back on the couch, and popped the a tater tot in my mouth...

SALT.

Lots of salt.

Tons of salt.

Enough salt to turn a lake into the ocean.

I'm willing to give them a try again but the last experience was not pleasant.

Sounds like a one off, they're usually dangerously tasty.

I think he does first year mass classes, 600 at a time, and they don't give him TAs to grade, so let's go with a cool 18,486.

Why yes, yes I do. Because it cost too much for such crappy food.

$16.95 for the main plate, hot links sausage was + $3.95, beer was $8

It was dinner, not lunch.

The brisket pile was a decent size and quality, but it came out with BBQ already on it. The BBQ sauce too hot and lacked flavor, rather it took away from the food.

Beans were meh. Jicama slaw was meh. Hot link was meh to bad.

Frankly the fries were the best thing on that tray, and I am not a potato fan.

The ketchup and mustard was there before we ordered. It is a general uninspired restaurant.

I kept looking around but this is really the only clip out there that fits to where I want it and it just seems like the right one for the knife to me. I was on the fence because WIC has aversions to them and I'm sure they're well founded, but I wasn't given any details and at least they probably have an employee working there somewhere that isn't a dick and needs a job in the USA.

Who made it?  LynchNW doesn't make one?  I stopped in and chatted with them yesterday after work. They showed me around the shop and let me fondle some of their products (including their "exclusive" GM ace biblio XL with CF/magnacut. It was pretty sweet) I was too busy checking stuff out to remember to ask about a better clip for my live wire. Lol

350 for just this semester, >500 for the year. I'll be at 650 for next year though

Does yours seat perfectly flush? Looking at mine this morning, one side under the screw is slightly lifted due to the curve of the scale. I may take a file to the underside to round it a little, or maybe try to bend it, or just ignore it (you have to really be looking for it).

I guess. That's why I didn't say it was "wrong" since I don't know what is "correct" or if both ways are, it's just not what I'm used to at the other places we've gotten them.

Gas station pizza.

I was thinking, they do knife stuff, you do knife stuff, you could do a joint venture to use their services/channels for your work, especially if you did SAK modding. Or maybe they need a cool operator to assist them when demand is high.

I'd give Kwik trip pizza a try. The kids still talk about Kwik trip and how it's the best gas station chain we've been to. Lol.

I didn't mention that I made knives, just that I worked for the machine dealer down the road.

I'm not sure I have anything to really offer them when they have relationships with real knife designers. Lol
