Seriously.  Don't necessary type out a response as it will at a minimum get this thread locked.  Maybe bring you unwanted attention.


I had a thought over the weekend and a conversation with my wife.  It was basically a question that went like this:



"Imagine we are in 1948-1952 time frame.  The ills of  the "Nazi regime" and socialism are fresh on everyone's mind.  What do you seriously think would happen to a political candidate, or any sitting U.S. Senator/Congressman who openly espoused Socialism and a change to our government?....Including the changing of the 1A and 2A as they are now?"


"Seriously....what would physically happen?  What do you think people would do?"



Crazy to see how things have changed so much.  



I truly cannot believe the things that people are openly calling for.  The things that people, even on this website, openly defend.

They openly reject the system of economic and political freedom that changed the lives of the

common man from near universal grinding poverty to comfort.  This is a level of self

delusion where such questions don't even make sense to them.
