Jesus, if you want to say Trump will not beat Hillary....well fine.  But to suggest we will have Hillary because of Trump, as if Cruz would have been a shoe in is absurd.  Fact is, if Trump can't beat Hillary, then Cruz probably couldn't either given the obvious election dynamics we have learned thus far.  How about we drop these predictions and get behind the nominee, we simply don't know who is going to win, but we do know that Hillary is a very weak candidate, 'third terms' are rarely given to a party, and we have a very motivated electorate on our side this election unlike in 08 and 12. Good lord, I am getting sick of you Debbie Downers.  You treat these early RCP like the gospel, it is silly considering no nominee has been coalesced behind yet.

Trump is good at attacking and the news media considers him a darling, repeating what he says and does.  This is how he beat the other Republicans

That's a nice sediment.   Unfortunately no one will care about the Hildabeasts laundry.  Once the orange Jesus has the nomination the same media that fawns over him will turn on him and expose all his failures, comments and history to destroy him.    HBO real sports just did a piece on his failed golf course in Scotland, and them banning him from entering Scotland.

I'm sure The Hildabeast is looking forward to running against  the orange vulgarian.

According to the CNN folks. Trump will get WV & Jersey.  With his lead in CA and some 27 pledged delegates in PA he will have all the votes he needs and then some. That ignores the fact that Cruz and Katshi are out of cash and both just got stomped and it will effect their campaign going forward. There is no guarantee that the two challengers will even win anything else after tonight. They are both eliminated and out of cash and their only hope is vote for us so we can steal this in the convention.

Yeah, totally crazy.

It's way more likely that a sixty-nine year old man completely reversed every political position he ever held with such conviction that he decided to seek the office of the president in a year where his old friend had virtually no chance of winning without him in the race.

As always, Trump is the only chance we have to beat Hillary. I see so many naysayers here, far too many for me to address individually. All I can say to you is that despite the major swing demographically towards the left that this country has experienced, this election is far from over. For one, the left is VERY BAD at holding its nose and voting for the lesser of two evils. Hillary is despised by many on the left as a corrupt warmonger. Trump may not take NY in the general, but he only needs a few swing states to win it. His negatives are intangibles and will prove meaningless, and the longer he is in the public eye the more the voters will warm up to him. You'll see.

Also, please run as an independent, Bernie.

If Trump has the nomination denied by a contested convention, you can count on Hiltery being president.     People won't support a hijacked campaign.   If their votes are nullified, they won't vote.

I'll say it again for the hearing impaired (not that there's anything wrong with that!): TRUMP WILL WIN AGAINST HITLERY

This isn't speculation, it's demographics. There are far more people who have been hurt by illegal immigration and offshoring of jobs than there are rabid leftists. Don't forget, when Sanders doesn't get the nod, all of the millennial ignorant knuckleheads and the hardcore socialists will stay home and pout. There was an article that was talking about how Dim voter turnout in the primaries is down roughly 19% from 2008 when the Hildabeast was running against Ocommie. Gee, could it be that there is a percentage of the population that would get out to vote for someone that looks like them that isn't going to for someone that doesn't? Yep. So, two of the major constituents of the Dim voter base are very likely to stay home on election day. And, like him or not, Trump IS getting people to vote for him that heretofore had given up on being part of the political process. There just isn't a scenario, short of some out-of-left-field event, that doesn't have Trump schlonging Hitlery.

I'm not a Debbie Downer, but I am a realist, as many Trump supporters on Arfcom apparently are not. One data point that I can't get over: exit polling throughout the primaries shows Trump losing white women voters to Hillary by eight points - Romney won white women voters by fourteen points. Romney was beaten handily, and so far, Trump is doing far worse. How does he turn that around? I don't think he can. And if he loses by a larger margin than Romney, the GOP likely loses the Senate as well, meaning Hillary turns the Supreme Court into her plaything and the 2nd Amendment into a bunch of meaningless words. Elections have consequences.

I hope I'm wrong.

Cruz can get more votes and delegates than Trump  before the convention?   Otherwise, he can't win.   People won't vote for anyone who isn't the top vote winner.

Interesting enough, I saw on the news where they were showing that Trump does better with black people than the the previous choices going back to Reagan...as in double digits not seen since Reagan.  Still small but significant given Republicans poor showing with them for decades now. I found that surprising given the rhetoric in the media but it makes some sense if you think about it.  He still does bad with Hispanics, but they also have the lowest voter turnout of any demographic or voter group in this country.  Add in white BC Democrats, motivating long time non-voters, and the fact that young people (especially Bernie supporters) are not going to show up for Hillary like they did for Obama, and the picture is not so bleak.  We still have a chance to win this thing.

Trump will crush her so badly that there will be calls to invoke the mercy rule.

Trump is a winner.  You can love or hate the guy but he is.  He wins.  He wins at life and he wins in this election.

America loves a winner.  She won't tollerate a loser (cruz).  Trum fights and fights hard.  He fights to win and doesn't play word games about being nice.

He will beat H like clubbing a baby seal and the D party will be as outraged as is humanly possible.

If Trump secures 1237 delegates going into the convention the nomination should be his. I wish him luck. It would be the first time in six election cycles I would not have voted for the republican nominee. Heck, I voted republican in every race I can remember, including the elementary school mock elections. I'll vote down ticket for worthy conservatives, definitely not going to stay at home. But I'm not voting for a charlatan.

And should Trump win, and should he right the nation, I'll gladly admit I was wrong. However, I'm damn confident, sadly confident, that their will be a whole lot of discontent from the Trump backers when his true colors show.

God please let me be wrong.

If he gets his 300 before the convention, I bet there will be a false flag followed by martial law.

He aint alone. Between the crazies and the defeatists I think someone should start making wellness calls early in the morning all over the country.

This morning radio said Trump needed 100% of the remaining delegates, but that doesn't seem correct

I'll be glad when this is over, and voting (R)

Accoring to John King, factoring in WV and NJ, Trump now only needs to get 40% of the remaining delegates.

Hillary will lose to Trump.

Trump is good at attacking and the news media considers him a darling, repeating what he says and does.  This is how he beat the other Republicans

I guess Cruz blew it then, he had his chance and we just have to look at results.

So far he lost, his only chance is a contested convention.

I guess fate will decide, If he is this great leader why can't he beat a NY liberal
Buisnessman?

If he can't beat Trump what make everone think he can beat Hillary??

I voted for him as well, but man he is like the fat kid on the last mile of a 3 mile run.

He just hopes he will still get to go home on time instead of staying for fatboy PT.

Or better yet a participation trophy, he is one of the best conservatives
We have, yet he cannot convince his enough Republicans to vote for him??

only time will tell

No. Time is up.

Get behind Trump because he is going to air all Hillary's dirty laundry which will force the media to cover it. She will lose to Trump.

Living in NY allows you to wash your hands of this to some extent. I hope you will change your mind before November.

Clinton planted her old buddy trump, he was told to be as bombastic and decisive as possible to split the republicans up, ensuring her win

As optimistic as I was as a younger man, my 40s have brought me to realism bordering on cynicism...and I think you're right about Crooked Hillary becoming president.

Does it really matter?

Trump cleared 60% pretty much today in a 3 way race.

A lot of Conservative Republicans Voted Trump today...Why is that?

Cruz is a huckster shilling falsehoods.

I still have not heard that douche-bag come up with "own" ideas.

All I hear is him whining "Donald this" "Donald that" you know, like a fucking broken record...
