If you had to choose one of the for an 11.5"  lightweight SBR, which one would you go with?

The B5 is my favorite stock, but the BCM is shorter and lighter.

Neither, get the LWRC compact stock.  It literally is a baby sopmod.

What do you have against storage?  SBR paperwork at least.

That would be nice and the extra weight of the standard B5 would probably help balance.

I liked the regular SOPMOD as it has a well defined cheek weld but of those two I would get the BCM

I went with an LMT sopmod on my 11.5 SBR just due to balance, so B5 gets my vote

Papers and batteries?  I like keeping spare extractor parts, cotter pin, gas rings, FP, and a sight tool on board too, personally.  Takes a pretty stripped down SBR to make a SOPMOD too ass heavy.

ETA: Aw hell. I guess it's a picture thread now.  Twist my arm...

B5. My BCM stock was a bitch to put on and wobbles up and down. My B5 is solid as a rock and easy to install.

SOPMOD

Gonna vote SOPMOD since my preferred stock is the VLTOR EMOD and that's as close as it gets with those options. I haven't gotten to try it yet, but it's the intended stock for my suppressed 10.5" SBR. I'm definitely keeping the balance in mind and while lighter is nice, balancing the can will be important. Even with a Ti tube it's not going to be the lightest thing in the world.

I have both and like both.  For the lw, I'd use the bcm.  Haven't tried the lwrc options yet.

LWRC Ultra-Compact.  LWRC compact if you want to stay with a standard carbine receiver extension.

This.

I love my b5 enhanced sopmod on my 16" AR but it's too big for my SBR. The compact is perfect for a smaller rifle.

If it's lightweight, I'd say the MFT Minimalist.

If you have grip storage, of course.

That is exactly my SBR except I have a Streamlight scout and a suppressor mount.
Mine's FDE also.

I'd like to swap the B5 for the BCM stock.

Ultra compact stock kit.  Came on my factory LWRC SBR (still in jail) and liked it so much I put one on my latest build and am waiting for a 3rd FDE one for my MK18 SBR.

With that stock my MK18 will be 24" barrel to stock (25 5/8" to flash hider)

I have both. Definitely go with the SOPMOD Bravo.  I think it's more comfortable.  It is also easier to adjust and has better sling mounting options.

A stock needs to be large and sturdy enough for striking someone if needed.  These dinky stocks are not for me.
