That was just a scheme for his cronies and political donors to make off with billions of government dollars.

None of his moronic schemes would actually work in the real world, we're just finding out right before he runs out the back door of the White House with every last billion he can steal.

Couldn't they just raise the rates and deductibles 30%?

or 40?

and the part that was supposed to repay losing insurers with .gov funds (shut down by an amendment by Marco Rubio)

not there as a safety net, the death spiral has begun.

No, they rather cancel the cheap plans so you must buy a more expensive plan from another provider.  Colorado health op was about half the other plans, they knew it would fail a year before it did but did nothing to prevent it.

just goes to show you capitalism can not be trusted with something as important as Healthcare, or Healthcare Insurance...........time to make it single payer just like Medicaid, Medicare, and the Veteran's Administration..........only thing we can do, the only thing we should consider. Government should always be the arbiter of social programs, it is the only one to provide them to the populace in a manner that is timely, cost effective, fair, and efficient.

Obamacare failure has nothing to do with capitalism it is socialist based care where it is dependent upon the haves buying policies at higher prices than they are worth to cover the cost of polices for the have nots. The have nots  overwhelmed the system and the haves were to smart to participate.

Had they instead removed the invisible lines taking away monopolies many carriers have in certain States so there was nationwide competition we would be seeing the opposite outcome of Obamacare.

Republicans have destroyed healthcare in America yet again.  The only solution now is a single payer national healthcare program with no opt-out.  Private practice is now illegal.

To recap:

They "fixed" the dysfunctional system with massive government involvement. Now their fix is failing at breakneck speed. So to fix it even more fixed, they have to put even more .gov into it until it's so fixed that the only option left to fix it will be total .gov takeover.

The masses will cry out for a savior and Single-Payerman will swoop in just in time...

...as planned.

And don't forget, this was all to "fix" the "unfair" system that was in place, created in large measure by the HMO Act of 1973. The title sponsor of the Act was Edward M. Kennedy.

Dem solution to a Dem problem.
