This, and building an A2 now. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii190/Birddog4570/20161007_105504_zpsoeoypwva.jpg View Quote I have the same m16a4 clone and acog |

An M16A4 clone using a PSA complete upper. With an AAC Blackout on it the recoil is almost non-existent.
|
|
Put together an A2 clone like the one I was issued in Bosnia. Just because, really.
|
|
I got one, a while ago, because I expected (wanted) to shoot High Power Rifle.
One marriage and three kids later, and I have put less than 50 rounds through the thing. |
|

No, but I have an A2 upper receiver that I keep meaning to build up into a full rifle. I'll probably give the thing away once I build it, I have no use for a rifle without cowitness-able optics.

I've often thought of getting one of those RRA NM rifles. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
I've often thought of getting one of those RRA NM rifles. If you can make it up to national matches at Camp Perry, Rock River sells them for right around $1000 to anybody who shows up to the matches. Paid $950 or $975 three or four years ago for the A4 with detachable match carry handle. I think the A2 is slightly cheaper. |

Have owned some...now I am waiting on the post election crash to pick up another one cheap.

Colt AR15A4 with Trijicon/RCO 4x32 optic. And Geisele DMR trigger....

Five.
Answer is skewed since I'm a retro guy If it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't. |

Gooseneck mount with an aimpoint micro Had a gooseneck mount on the 16in the A2 upper came off of. Had to cut a new slot in it because it didn't fit my Vortex Strikefire. That was how I learned I don't like gooseneck mounts. IMO, a 20incher is begging for a proper scope, like a 1-4 or 1-6. If I could snip off the carry handle and mount a section of pic rail to the top of the receiver, I'd be happy as a pig in poop. |

Got the bug earlier this year and put together an A4 with PSA nitride upper on an Anderson. Now I haven't been able to find any deals on carry handle sights since then, and PSA never seems to have theirs in stock any more.

Currently in the process of building one but I can't make up my mind if I want to build an a2 clone or a4 clone.

After what I did in basic with a well used Colt M16A1 ........ I was hooked on the platform .. And I liked my issued A2 way more than my M4
|
|
I did...then installed an adjustable stock and have not looked back.

No but we just watched blues brothers yesterday (in between football games). The scene where Carrie fisher tries to kill Jake and Elwood with the M16 made me want one. (A 20" fixed, not a real M16)

I have one. I like it.
Scoped wiht offsets, railed handguard with covers and a bipod. She is 223 tack driver. |

I'm in the last stages of putting together a .308 20" with an A2 stock. It'll be mostly for paper and varmint busting.
No pics, but my list so far: DPMS lower CMMG LPK (Had to slightly modify the bolt catch to fit lower) Larue MBT big ass Ergo deluxe grip A2 stock of forgotten manufacturer with DPMS spring and buffer Aero Upper Satern 1/10 20" medium contour barrel JP adjustable gas block and rifle tube VG6 7.62 Gamma brake AIM nickel boron BCG (May upgrade here to JP) BCM Mod4 CH Sightron SIII 6-24x50 JP 30mm mount Still awaiting SLR ION ultralight 16" (pending, could change) The lower is together, but I'm still vacillating over the handguard. Hopefully it will be a good shooter once it's all together. I can hardly wait to see a ground squirrel come together with a .30 bullet! |

DPMS Predator upper on a cmmg lower A2 stock Harris bipod and millet LRS 6-25x56
I have a lead plug that fits in the buttstock but I was able to stay on target and watch my bullet strikes without using it. Thing is heavy. It's my pdog/yote gun. By far my favorite. |
|
Nope. Due to this thread I realized I used to own 2 different ones though. I had an A2 National Match and an A1 clone with a surplus upper and A1 fixed stock. I had completely forgotten about those.
|

Yep. I need to shoot it more. Hell I need to shoot more period

Only have one 20", an Armalite A2 with a factory match barrel. It's my most accurate iron sighted rifle.
