Joseph Galloway shared the sad news of the passing of Lt. General Hall Moore, USA, Ret. on Friday, Feb 10th.

General Moore was 94.

Tentative plans for his funeral are Friday, Feb 17th, at Ft Benning, GA.

More details to come.

As a Lieutenant Colonel, Moore commanded the 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, at the Battle of Ia Drang in 1965, during the Vietnam War. The battle was made into the movie We Were Soldiers in 2002, which starred actor Mel Gibson as Moore.

Thank you for your service, sir. May you rest in peace.

Garry Owen, Sir!
