Ukrainians hacked the Starlink terminal installed on the downed Ukrainian Baba Yaga drone in order to bypass territorial restrictions on the devices and use them without a subscription fee. Ukrainian “Kulibins” managed to hack Starlink terminals and remove both the issues of territorial restrictions and, with a high degree of probability, payment issues. We realized this by conducting a detailed analysis of the satellite communication system of the Ukrainian Armed Forces ["Baba Yaga"] drone. They made profound changes to both the terminal design and the software. In fact, they managed to bypass the main chips of the terminal device using special equipment running a Raspberry Pi. - said Dmitry Kuzyakin, general director of the Center for Integrated Unmanned Solutions, after analyzing the system of the Ukrainian Baba Yaga drone in an interview with TASS. Moreover, the special equipment for hacking that the Ukrainian gangs used was clearly of industrial production. This means that we are definitely dealing with a leak of specific information and technologies necessary to hack such a complex system. The Ukrainian drone "Baba Yaga" with a Starlink terminal was hit by our fighters in the Avdiivka direction. Personnel: @IronHelmets and TC "Zvezda". I think this might be a reason why Ukrainian political leadership wasn't aggressively pushing for a expansive mobilization bill: this is the solution. There was an article recently that quoted Zelenskyy, and he suggested that mobilization of large numbers wasn't necessary, as the UAF could find the troops themselves, or at least something along those lines. So, that was what the audit was for. We'll have to see how this plays out. If it's done right, they can find a number of replacements, though it is a dangerous technique to replenish losses without relying on increased mobilization. Even if it's done right, this is only something that can be done once, and it's very easy to abuse and send the wrong people to the front. Not everyone has the right physical and mental constitution to be an infantryman, especially in a war like this one. For instance, I could handle a support role, but I would not be a good infantryman for myriad reasons, and I'm in better shape than most and a halfway decent marksman. Additionally, if abused, it runs the risk of robbing necessary support units of needed manpower. Overall, though, there does appear to be a good bit of fat to cut of of the UAF. The system as a whole doesn't strike me as being very efficient. Lots of us were dooming about Syrski when he replaced Zaluzhny, but I've got to say, I see why Zaluzhny had to go, and I think Syrski has been making some good decisions (another one being reshuffling around 67th mechanized due to poor performance and abuse of new conscripts, in spite of it being a Right Sector heavy unit with political connections). Zaluzhny was calling for the mobilization of hundreds of thousands of men, without even having bothered to audit his own service to know if they had additional manpower that could be freed up... View Quote The other problem is troops in the rear or in support roles are typically doing something. Logistics and repairs are just as important as the fighters. If some guy working on tank repairs for two years is thrown into an infantry role it means a less experienced person will replace him. I'm sure the logistics and maintenance troops have gotten more streamlined over time. Loosing them can have consequences down the line. |

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Chronicle of a special military operation for April 18, 2024 Russian troops attacked enemy aircraft at the airfield in Dnepropetrovsk, and also destroyed the S-300 air defense system, guidance radar and control cabin in the Lyubimovka area. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to attack the Russian border area, including using weather balloons and missiles. In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian Armed Forces are advancing on the eastern outskirts of Chasov Yar at the Kalinovka - Kanal microdistrict line. In the Stupochek area, an enemy howitzer and air defense system were hit. In the Avdeevsky direction, the Russians pushed the enemy’s defenses 2.5 kilometers deep, completely occupying the territory of the Zarya SNT. Fighting is taking place in the area of the Ocheretino-Uzlovaya substation along Zheleznodorozhnaya Street. In the Donetsk direction, fighting continues on the southeastern outskirts of Krasnogorovka. Russian troops are advancing in the area of Zheleznodorozhnaya Street, using artillery and aviation, and the private sector is being cleared. In the Zaporozhye direction, the Russian Armed Forces are holding positions in Rabotino, and positional battles continue northeast of Verbovoy. The enemy once again tried to attack the territory of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant with a drone, but the air defense shot down the target. https://t.me/rybar/59282 #Morning summary April 18, 2024 ▪️Yesterday, the Russian Armed Forces launched a missile strike on Chernigov, hitting a personnel deployment point. The attack also hit Konstantinovka; enemy personnel were hiding in the school. During the day, our troops attacked targets in Starokonstantinov, Khmelnitsky region, Kyiv region, Krivoy Rog, Odessa region, Kurakhovo (part of the DPR occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces). ▪️In the Kherson direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces again deployed small landing groups to Krynki, somewhat expanding their presence in the village stretching along the coast. The total number of enemy personnel is no more than 100 people, the enemy is limited in the ability to maneuver, but moves from cover to cover in Krynki itself. One civilian was killed and four were wounded from enemy shelling of Kakhovka. ▪️On the Zaporozhye front, the Russian Armed Forces repelled an enemy counterattack northwest of Verbovoy, the enemy sent a group of 7 infantry into battle. At Rabotino, our troops covered the armored vehicle deployment area with artillery fire. People on the ground are reporting the insufficient level of organization and equipment of our electronic warfare. The Ukrainian Armed Forces' drones are active. ▪️In the South Donetsk direction, the Russian Armed Forces are expanding the control zone in the south of Krasnogorovka. Fighting continues in Novomikhailovka. ▪️North-west of Avdeevka, the Russian Armed Forces are conducting active offensive operations near the village. Ocheretino, in the area of Semyonovka and Berdychi. Our troops are trying to cover Novokalinovo from the north. ▪️The offensive against Chasov Yar continues. The Russian Armed Forces operate on the eastern outskirts of the city, gaining a foothold southwest of Bogdanovka, repelling an enemy counterattack. From the remnants of the Ivanovo (Red) unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces they report their difficult situation. ▪️In the Seversky direction, fighting is going on in the direction of Vyemka and Bogdanovka. The line of combat contact in the Krasnolimansk direction near Ternov remains unchanged. ▪️Yesterday, by nightfall, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a strike from the Vampire MLRS on Belgorod, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the interception of 14 missiles, a total of 22 shells were announced. In the village of Razumnoye, as a result of a direct hit in a private residential building, a woman received a shrapnel wound to her left foot. ▪️In the Voronezh region in the evening, enemy UAVs tried to attack an oil depot, suppressed electronic warfare drones fell on a lumber warehouse, and a fire broke out. ▪️In the Rostov region, at about 02:00 at night, 3 UAVs were destroyed in the Kamensk-Shakhtinsky area. In the first half of the day, UAVs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed over Tatarstan and Mordovia. ▪️In the DPR, three civilians were wounded from shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine: in Donetsk and Avdeevka. In total, the Nazis fired 54 shells at the civilian population of the DPR. The summary was compiled by: Two majors https://t.me/dva_majors/40308 ⚡️Front-line report for the morning 04/18/2024⚡️ On the Zaporozhye front north of Verbovoy, positional battles are taking place. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to slow down the advance of Russian troops and prevent them from reaching the eastern outskirts of Rabotino. In Rabotino itself, the Russian Armed Forces are conducting assault operations; there are small advances inside the settlement. Long-range weapons are actively working on both sides. (Fig. 1) Donetsk front. In Novomikhailovka, the Russian Armed Forces knock out the remnants of the Ukrainian garrison from the populated area. Encounter fighting continues in Georgievka. In Krasnogorovka there were assault operations by the Russian Armed Forces with the support of aviation and artillery, as a result of which Russian troops managed to advance within the city limits. In the Victory area there are oncoming battles. There are advances south of Pervomaiskoye, towards Nevelskoye, where there are still positions of Ukrainian troops in the fields. Apparently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters in this pocket will soon be cut off from the supply of provisions and ammunition, after which the choice is poor: destruction or captivity. Encounter battles in the area of Netailovo and Umansky. The Russian Armed Forces are trying to open the enemy’s defenses in this sector of the front. In the area of Semyonovka and Berdychi LBS there are no significant changes, fierce fighting continues. But to the north of Berdychi, the Russian Armed Forces continue to make their way to the outskirts of Novobakhmutovka and Ochertino, which further aggravates the already difficult situation of the Ukrainian garrison in Semyonovka and Berdychi. (Fig. 2) Chasovoyarsk direction. Encounter fighting continues in the eastern suburb of Chasov Yar. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are bringing reserves here. There are also counter-fights in the Bogdanovka area. The LBS has not changed significantly, but the Russian Aerospace Forces and artillery are hitting Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in the city around the clock, which cannot but affect the quality of defense, and, importantly, the morale of the Ukrainian troops. The latest crimes of migrants
Often it's not a matter of nationality. The point is who exactly our corporations are dragging millions into Russia. Cheap, unskilled labor that creates added value. Capital has no homeland, ethnicity or religion. Billionaire hucksters don’t give a damn what language the creature that brings them profit speaks or thinks. Accordingly, these illiterate strangers begin to gain a foothold in our country, attract relatives to them, and the difference in cultural, legal, and sometimes civilizational development gives rise to conflicts. We need to fight not so much against specific marginalized people and criminals. With reasons. With the basic settings of the state machine, which big capital has been setting up for years. Many people write about specific migrant lobbyists in power, which is absolutely natural, although extremely dangerous for state security. This does not mean that we need to close ourselves off from migration. This means that it is necessary to create conditions for attracting not the quantity, but the quality of human power. It is unlikely that this mug who killed a man was a highly intelligent specialist. So when will qualitative changes begin from above? Not populist measures to tighten the situation of migrants, but a systemic set of measures to bring employers and corporations to a normal fight. Then, when the state as an institution feels an existential threat. This cannot be expected from capitalists and corporate owners. These freaks are ready to trade with even a Ukrainian, even hire a bald devil, as long as there is a profit. Two majors https://t.me/dva_majors/40316 |

Russian occupiers teach children of the occupied Luhansk region new terms in their own propaganda way
We came across a document-appeal from the Ministry of Education and Science of the so-called “LPR” to educational institutions with a request to “bring this information to all interested parties,” which contains a link to the new publication “Dictionary of basic terms related to public policy for the protection of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, culture and historical memory", developed by the Russian Research Institute of Cultural and Natural Heritage named after D. S. Likhachev In this publication, the Russians have collected the most relevant terms today, in their opinion, for the youth of their country and the occupied territories, for example: "Foreign Agent" "Civic Identity" "Citizenship" "Patriotism" "Patriotic education" "Volunteer activities" “Spiritual and moral education” "Spiritual and moral values" "Cossacks" “Youth volunteer (volunteer) activities” "Russian Cossacks" "Doctrine" "Threat to National Security" And many other narrative terms for training young patriots (read: future soldiers and volunteers for the front) https://t.me/samotniyskhid/4959 Document at link Under these documents, of course, the surname and initials of the head of the department of education and additional education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the "LPR" Larisa Yakovlena Pogorelova are indicated, whose personal number and Telegram account I published last year Actually, in order not to beat around the bush, I am publishing the very publication of new terms from Russian propagandists to brainwash the children of the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine https://t.me/samotniyskhid/4961 |

For the first time, the anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, in cooperation with the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, destroyed the Tu-22M3 long-range strategic bomber - the carrier of Kh-22 cruise missiles
⚡️ 15 MISSILE, 14 UAV AND TU-22M3 BOMBER DESTROYED ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ On the night of April 19, 2024, the Russian invaders launched a combined strike with missiles of various types and attack UAVs. In total, the enemy used 36 means of air attack - 22 missiles of various types and 14 attack drones: - 2 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles from Tu-95 MS strategic aviation aircraft (Ryazan launch area - Russian Federation); - 14 attack UAVs of the "Shahed-131/136" type (from Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions, Kursk region - Russian Federation); - 12 Kh-59/Kh-69 guided air missiles (Kursk region and from the waters of the Sea of Azov); - 2 "Iskander-K" cruise missiles (from Crimea); - 6 Kh-22 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 long-range strategic bombers (from the waters of the Black and Azov Seas). Anti-aircraft missile forces of the Air Force, mobile fire groups and electronic warfare units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the enemy's air attack. 💥 As a result of anti-aircraft combat, 29 air targets were destroyed: - 2 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles; - 14 strike UAVs of the "Shahed-131/136" type; - 11 Kh-59/Kh-69 guided air missiles; - 2 Kh-22 cruise missiles. ❗️For the first time, the anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force in cooperation with the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine destroyed the Tu-22M3 long-range strategic bomber - the carrier of Kh-22 cruise missiles, which Russian terrorists use to attack peaceful Ukrainian cities. During today's attack, two such missiles were destroyed for the first time. Ukraine needs more means, more missiles, in order to better protect the frontline territories from Russian terrorism. 🤝 I thank everyone who ensured this result today. 2 Mig-29 Date unknown, from Fighterbomber. I'm assuming those were the cannibalized parts birds. I thought so as well, they were parked in an obvious open area, when most Ukrainian aircraft fighters are operating from various roadways and moving around. Plus they were about 100km from the front lines, so a Russian drone did get through to see them and call in a ballistic missile shot. |

Not populist measures to tighten the situation of migrants, but a systemic set of measures to bring employers and corporations to a normal fight. What's up with those wires hot-glued to the noses? I would assume it is to arm the fuse remotely |

Let us never forget, government has no resources of its own. Government can only give to us what it has previously taken from us.

Because watching a Russian strategic bomber falling out of the sky makes my day.

Planet Labs satellite images from April 19 appeared at the disposal of "Scheme", which show the consequences of the strikes on the Crimean airfield. In particular, damage can be seen near the warehouse of ammunition and air defense systems. View Quote "On the pictures, we can see pinpoint hits on air defense equipment, which disabled them, and damage to the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system. It should be noted that after the strikes, most of the aviation was redeployed," aviation expert Anatoliy Khrapchynskyi explained in a comment to "Schemes". View Quote He added that, judging by the satellite images, the missile strike also affected the systems involved in the work of the radar and air defense systems. View Quote

Captured Russian drone running off the cellular network.
OpenIPC can be run on the camera PCB. DC/DC convertor. 4G LTE modem Common SpeedyBee F405 And simple cheapest uBlox GNSS module All that indicates that this drone is supposed to be used in the rear by recon and sabotage groups, where they don't expect to encounter enemy jamming, since digital videos systems are easier to jam than analog due to differences in protocols. The GNSS could be used as aiding solution for controls, in order to reduce training time of sabouteeurs. View Quote

The first F-16 with a trained crew may arrive in Ukraine before the beginning of summer - Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo The interesting thing here is not the transfer to the summer, but the fact that previously the Belgian Ministry of Defense declared that the first Belgian F-16s would arrive in Ukraine at the beginning of 2025, and now "within a month." This means that we now have almost a year's acceleration in the delivery of fighters from Belgium. By the way, 43 days until the beginning of summer. View Quote |
