Very cool footage. Prox fused rounds would have been better... Gepards can hit them anyway. |

Even if they get the unitary warhead quipped ones I don’t think they’d be able to drop it. They need to hit a support and drop a couple spans. The bridge in Kherson took so many hits and stayed up. The deck has to be at least as resilient. |

Very cool footage. Prox fused rounds would have been better... Gepards are cool. Crazy how old 80s tech would play such an important role in the 2020s. Edit: I take that back. A ton of other US and Euro 80s equipment is being very useful in Ukraine. |

Sjoigu, Gersasimov, were Timoer Ivanov?
Apparently a deputy defence minister Ivanov has been arrested. Apparently the guy was a Sjoigu confidant as wel. Some bullshit about bribes but who knows the real reason because Russia sure doens't give a crap about corroption. On a side note has Gerasimov been found yet? From Wiki:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paveway_IV The weapon is a guidance kit based on the existing Enhanced Paveway II Enhanced Computer Control Group (ECCG) added to a modified Mk 82 general-purpose bomb with increased penetration performance. The new ECCG contains a Height of Burst (HOB) sensor enabling air burst fusing options, and a SAASM (Selective Availability Anti Spoofing Module) compliant GPS receiver. It can be launched either IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) only, given sufficiently good Transfer Alignment, or using GPS guidance. Terminal laser guidance is available in either navigation mode. |

Probably some blah blah blah about maintenance and logistics. But unless the US was providing Apache's or maybe Cobras ALONG WITH Hellfires, I'm not sure how much use they would be in such a dangerous airspace. The 2 Blackhawks they managed to cobble together have been used though. |

It is truly amazing and horrifying. And every time a modern (post 1980's) piece of equipment shows up it proves very decisive. I'm still holding out hope that someone finds and sends some M60 Patton tanks and Jeeps. |

It had the latest election posters on the wall, so unless it was cobbled together somehow it appears he was alive and well as of a few weeks ago. |

- For each artillery round Ukraine fires, Russia fires 10, and soldiers in the area say that ratio is getting worse. - A Ukrainian soldier callsign "Nemo" said the Russians usually advanced at dawn and dusk, when drones can’t see but night-vision goggles aren’t necessary, and took heavy losses for the territory they gained. "They can shell a tree line just for fun [...] We can only respond when we’re 100% sure of the target." - A Ukrainian soldier callsign "Kypish" said the Russians hadn’t advanced in his area of the front line last week. Out of 110 men in his company, only 35 were currently able to fight, with the rest recovering from injuries. "Even our commanders are in the positions with us because we’re short of men." - Serhiy Suprun, the commander of a medical team from the Ukrainian 41st Mechanized Brigade, said one soldier recently had to wait four days for an evacuation: The risk of drone attacks was too high to drive in. "It was impossible to approach [...] There’s a drone chasing every soldier. They react to the slightest movement." - An evacuation driver callsign "Chizhik" said that when he drives toward the front to pick up wounded, he radios to request artillery cover. Often, he said, the answer is no. "They say, 'Sorry, we have limited shells.'" - The Ukrainians say that many of their problems will be solved once their stocks of artillery ammunition are replenished. With more artillery cover, they say, they will also take fewer casualties, which will help ease the manpower shortage. |

🇩🇰 An agreement was reached on Denmark's transfer to Ukraine of the country's entire fleet of F-16 fighter jets. 🇨🇿 At the end of May, beginning of June, deliveries of artillery shells purchased as part of the Czech initiative for Ukraine are expected. 👀 Other assistance will be discussed during Rammstein session this week. |
