I quit smoking about 10 years ago like a little weak-lunged pussy bitch but I like your enthusiasm so I'm in.

Agree with the OP, but mostly in that the AVERSION to smoking needs to be dialed back. People are way too worried about their health. AWWW You smell some smoke. Hope you didn't die.

Speaking of dying, I worked in a memory care unit for a while and one of the shared traits in that hell hole are they are all people who didn't smoke. I DEFINITElY want to die before dementia. Cigarettes are anti-alzheimer meds.

Probably 360 days out of the year I won't smoke. a few days out wheeling by the camp fire, fuck it. I'm gonna light em up.

But, from another thread, I disagree with the OP that JKs aren't real jeeps.

I found an interesting Youtube channel called "In Memoriam". Each video is for a year with the celebrates and famous people that died that year and what they died of. Of the ones that didn't die in accidents, ODs, suicides etc, in the '70s and 80s there was a LOT more younger and relatively younger deaths and most of those died of what was almost for sure, probably or very well could have been smoking related deaths than in the 20 teens and it kind of gradually changed over the years from one to the other. My mother died of lung cancer at 38 from smoking but even with that I didn't realize it had been that bad.

The most hard core death I saw on there was a 32 year old female that died from cirrhosis of the liver. That was some dedicated drinking.

It seems to keep the fatties at bay in Italy and Chile.  And Chilean cigarettes don't smell as bad; maybe there are fewer chemicals in them.

I’ll bet <10% of participants on this site can remember the combination of cigarette smoke, vinyl upholstery, BO, and ass that comprised almost all of the vehicles in the ‘70s.

It is a memory not to be reborn.

Smokers should have formed lobby groups to fight for their rights when their humiliation started.

I am not a smoker, and never have been, but I love the smell of a cigarette burning.  Especially that first hit.

I smoked a long time. Quit back in 2010. Smoking was great, loved it. I still miss it and I was fucking good at it too…

However is was dragging me down as I got older. Got to where I was tired all the time and my stamina was falling fast.

Not to mention it had gotten so expensive I couldn’t afford it if I wanted to smoke again.

Since most don't inhale, and contrary to the rhetoric that tobacco smoke kills kittens at a thousand meters, a good cigar or bowl in your pipe sure is a stress relief with good benefits on a nice afternoon or evening.  Hanging out with some friends and enjoying/sharing some good stogies, especially over a firepit is a wonderful thing.

I've always said that once I get old I'm going to start smoking a pipe. I'm still too young for it now so I'd look like a hipster faggot.

I was watching some preseason interviews from the Braves and I thought I saw one guy with a dip in. I got curious and looked up the MLB’s policy of tobacco use since I don’t recall seeing any players dip in many moons. Those faggots have all but outright banned with save for a little loophole if you started playing in the MLB before 2017 and if you’re in a ballpark that allows it (probably none).
Worst of all if you’re caught they require you to meet with a specialist about quitting.
The West is nearly done…

When I first joined ARF a fellow member was kind enough to send me tobacco seeds.   They grew great but my chickens loved them too much and thrashed my plants.
