The safety car was fucked up, but VER was not going to catch and pass NOR _and_ stay ahead even if he’d gotten an early pass with DRS. The RBR car was just not happy this weekend, and even less so on the hard tires.

I honestly believe Max is happier in 2nd place for a change.
He’s probably enjoying a challenge to play catch up for once. And I bet always leading so far out gets boring. No wonder he wants to possibly race other series. I’m sure it makes the next race a little more hungry to get back in a win. |

But I'm elated for Lando and McLaren. Max looked happier to see Lando win than he has after some of his recent wins. I'm fine with it if the other teams don't appeal. |
