i know me saying sorry won’t mean anything to you or change your opinion. i still am, however.

i hope you’re able to get into remission and they don’t see an atrial myxoma. i pray that the chemo will do its job in shrinking things for you.

stay strong, love on your wife & family. you can do this!

Brother, best of luck to you. I'm confident you will get it figured out, although I'm sure it'll suck.

You will win, and we will argue about 1911s.

Fasting sometimes helps.  Even if just reducing pain.

I'm rooting for you.

I'm not a doctor but there is a lot of research supporting ketogenic diet plus fasting vs cancer. Worth looking into

My good friend’s wife survived pancreatic cancer 4 years ago.

Cancer returned in August, based on our conversation the prognosis was bleak, she’s beaten it again and is cancer free and based on the type of cancer has a much better than prognosis.

There is hope.

Get well soon OP.

How is your appetite?

When my dad got cancer for the second time, he lost his appetite.  The mere discussion of food seemd to churn his stomach towards the end.

Whatever levels they were monitoring for the cancer seemd to be showing improvement but some of the doctors seemed to think malnourishment was the bigger problem at the end.

So I hope you're still eating OK...

you get my vote for most self-controlled and not-overstated post of the day.  This post would bring out ever fiber of rage I could come up with, personally.

Dude.   Fuck..   All I can say is I'm sorry.  Everyone I love who has been taken, has been (or is being), taken by cancer.  It is the most horrifically evil thing there is.  Cancer will be what kills me; my family medical history assures it.

On the flip side, they are getting better at this.  Don't give up.  Do the treatment.  Stay away from the random-fuck home remedies.  Go find a reputable oncologist who understands first-line therapy, and plays it by the book.  At this stage you don't need a wizard - you need competent.  The Book, is The Book, because it's proven, and it's actually updated pretty often.  Do that.  Stay away from experimental shit - for now.  Stay away from "but in Mexico.."   Our founder did that (he was fucked anyway); it didn't work.  Also, stay away from dismissals that it's all rigged.  Every cancer doctor out there has family who gets cancer - they don't let them die while in-the-know, for a better fucking Tesla.

Dude, I'm sorry.  Don't give up.  Keep your chin up.  Embrace humor.  Follow the lead of the great poet's Monty Python: "I'm not dead yet".
