He's going to appreciate that when he catches up after recovery.

This thread is going to make me go to the doctor. I haven’t been able to smell for almost 2 years. I get dizzy and my vision seems to be more blurry every month.

I hope all is well OP!

So far so good. Obviously some pain. Biggest issue is uvulitis that is making swallowing very difficult and uncomfortable. A lot of what I was dealing with is alleviated and continues to improve.
Thanks guys! I should be leaving the hospital tomorrow, but I wouldn't be surprised if they discharged me tonight.

They opened your head! Stay in there as long as you can! Make sure there’s no infection or any other issues

image hosting I'll stay another day or two with some intensive rehab afterwards. Doctor said he got everything out and I was supposed to go back for another MRI today but I just couldn't handle the hour and a half long procedure so I'll have to do it outpatient someday soon. They wanted to do something on my spine to make certain that I wasn't affected too. Super tired, but ready to get back home.
My main problem is still my uvula, it is really irritated and drives me insane.

Those staples will cause problems going through TSA.   That is probably a minor issue compared to the lake in your glove box.

Yeah, I'm not really looking forward to the day when they take them out, sounds like it might be a little irritating.

Still in rehab, I was hoping that I would be able to leave tomorrow, but that's just based on how my balance and mobility are and how well my wife can convince them that I can navigate our domicile. When I talked to the doctor this morning he was not optimistic at all about my leaving before Monday, primarily because discharges are tough on weekends. Maybe our conversation will go better tomorrow.

I did not enjoy have a few normal sutures taken out from a scalp biopsy.  It must be ok otherwise they wouldn't do it.

I am not a doctor but my view is be cautious.  A few more days resting there can't hurt...as long as the food is good.

It’s hard to get help on weekends if home care issues crop up- if the doc thinks you need to be in the hospital a little longer, I’d plan on heading home Monday.

Understand, but our two little girls are being a handful and it's really stressing her out. I can be just as safe at home as I am in the hospital. I just have to be very deliberate about it. And I'm a pretty motivated fellow so I don't want to get back up in here for some foolish reason.
