LAX is a really jacked-up airport. They don't have the airlines marked on their terminal map so you have no idea where they fly out of. Of course I went the wrong direction. Also, every other airport I have ever flown through allows incoming international passengers to transit to their national gates without having to go through security again (except for Charles DeGaulle, but they're French). Not here!
I did get my wife a Los Angeles ball cap (I love her but she has some odd tastes). Now I just have to wait another three and a half hours to leave outta here. |

I'm happy to report that Delta is doing their part to reduce electrical consumption here in CA. They have outlets in their gate chairs, but pretty much none of them are plugged in. Trick!!
On a related note, none of the airport transfer busses are electric. I thought that was a requirement out here. |

QUESTION: at what point it wouldn't be worth getting a new battery for a Model 3? I see used Model 3's for 25k and with the 4k incentive it would be 21k to buy a used one, VS spending 12k on a new battery.
My conundrum is: I am an Uber driver who racks up roughly 90k miles a year. My model 3 is at 210k miles. I dread the day I'd get the high voltage battery screen of death. Eventually it will happen. My question is... What would you do? I still owe 40k and hopefully a lot less by the time the dreaded screen pops up... How much would a high mileage model 3 be worth without the battery? |
