The lack of super mutants raises another question about the Enclave... didn't the Enclave dig out Maraposa in Fallout 2, which created a new generation of non-Master / Unity aligned super mutants on the west coast?

It was a hasty cleanup job, not even replacing the Overseer’s terminal. They only needed enough eyewash to make it look clean-ish until dumping the new residents into the vault. And then Dust took that to 9000... Thank God Lucky was easy to find. The bugged anti-Ghoul trait you can get from Pt.
