Solar does ok down here, but w/ the cheap electric, it doesn't make much sense to install it.

The wife just tried to talk to me from the office while I'm laying in bed then didn't answer my response. So I called the house phone that's right next to her rather than getting up.
Its been a long day. Work also called me to cancel a mandatory work thing that they never told me about to begin with. It was a very confusing conversation. |

My wife woke up Saturday morning
and decided to complain about everything. Solution? Get out of Dodge and take your kids shooting. My sons and I went to my brother's place on a mountain and enjoyed the day. |

Now the little bastages are everywhere. fortunately there is not a breeding pair here yet. The other destructive invader are the beavers. Holy fuck they can build some dams quick. And they are cutting down river birch like they own it, and in Missouri they do. HA! |

Supposed to look like this. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/355138/IMG_1719-3212829.jpg Texas used to have a 5.5" blade length limit and "Not a Bowie Knife" restriction on carry knives that we have mostly gotten rid of - but not for knives carried into schools, hospitals or bars. So I'm on my second chopped Luzon down from 6" to a <5.5" tanto point, slowly making mods to this one to have a slimmer blade & a shorter handle. Not a finished product by any means. The other blade is a Cold "Steel" plastic 5" boot dagger, and I cut off one of the edges, b/c a two edged dagger is again, not legal for bar carry. |

I figured you snapped the point off, then reprofiled it.

Originally Posted By Ironknife: I figured you snapped the point off, then reprofiled it. View Quote With a Dremel. @Jeffb1911 fixed most of my worst grinding, then I went and hacked on it again. I want a slimmer blade all together in the end - but I'm starting to realize it will a bit off center to the folding hilt. But it'll also be quite a bit smaller than what I started w/, as I'll be able to trim the handle as well. It opens very quickly w/ the thumb as it is, and I didn't need the one on the opposite side. |
