The best doctor I ever had got busted for child porn on the internet and saving some of it. He left private practice to be a research doctor so I had to find another. It turns out he was doing more than medical research! He should be out on home confinement by now. He got 6 years in jail and 5 years of home confinement upon release. Blows my mind. I use to see him when I was in my 20's and did not have insurance. He would only charge me $50 a visit and used to hook me up with free anti biotics that would cure just about anything. Now I am paying 82 a visit as a copay with insurance and my doctor is a dingbat woman, but I don't think she is into CP.

I'm a big fan of the sting operations that draw these people out.
Gordon Flowers and Skeeter Jean are two great examples. In my opinion, any police department that isn't doing these type of sting operations regularly is derelict in their duty to protect the children in their jurisdiction. They should have a sting operation running literally all the time. We can't catch too many of them. Even if they don't get a lot of jail time because it's their first offense, at least they're on the fucking radar and the sex offender list, and parents have a fighting chance to protect their kids from them. And when they get popped again (they always do), they can go down for hard time. |

Some are remarkably good at wearing masks.
A guy I knew and considered a friend turned out to be a child molester, had molested his nieces. He was a Navy vet and former LEO that wore the mask well and you had no inkling he was a kiddie diddler. Now he's going to die in prison. It's just too bad he'll get to live out his natural life instead of going out in terror screaming. |

There was a conference at our church a few weeks ago, general focus was How to Protect Your Children in an Online World or something to that effect.
One of the lectures was from a female officer who worked for the State of Texas, can’t remember which agency, but basically her job was to arrest people who created and distributed child images. She said there are all kinds of filters and other tools in place to nail these people. TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, etc all have algorithms that can detect an image even if it is never sent to anyone else. It will automatically notify the company who in turn is legally required to notify the authorities. Pretty advanced stuff but I’m sure they can’t all be caught ‘They should all be destroyed’
