It was a bit expensive and a rather small niche market.  I looked at one briefly and couldn't make the numbers work.  Ended up with a Yamaha lx2000 jet boat.

Have done around 16,000 vehicles or more in my lifetime, there's a good reason we don't put amps in places where they can't breathe.

ETA: And I don't see any rubber on the front or backside of your amp where you have it bolted in. You really need some shock absorbage in the marine environment, boats are subjected to waaaay more shock than cars are. Trust me on this dude, I did it for a living for 20 years, and have worked on at least a thousand boats.

Not trying to bust yer balls here, it's obvious you have serious skills and equipment and must work on stuff like this a lot, the work is gorgeous. I'm just coming at it from the perspective of a guy who's had to do a lot of warranty work and exchanges due to people focused solely on pretty work and not taking precautions to insure the life of the equipment.

The lid is not finished. I could only order a custom lid in solid starboard. I was unsure about the lids orientation so I have yet to cut the louvers in it for cooling and possible drainage should an water splash in that area. Not done yet.

Different strokes
looks like the OP is doing some good quality work to make a finely tuned swiss army knife of boats , you know , it does the work of 17 different things but not as good as the original thing.

1 Jetski and one skiff (Boston Whaler 13?) would do all the same stuff , cost less and still have lots of resale value.

For some guys the whole thing is dreaming up the concept and then making it work,go for it

Toyed with the idea of building a river fishing PWC for years. Many manufacturers make fishing specific PWC's now but, they're meant for open water with no rocks, shoals, obstructions.

I found a company a while back that made metal cover plates for the bottom but, I never bought a PWC.

Nice OP! I always thought those things were cool! Is the trailer set-up to tow with the ski attached?

Yes, but the initial setup was weak. I need to modify the trailer with some additional cross members in the Ski area to support it well. It will all launch like a normal boat.

Interesting.  I'm curious about the jet ski itself, how did you find one to fit?

Newer skis are a lot bigger/wider and much more powerful than the original.

You find these every once in a while on Marketplace, I was thinking about the complexity of it all.

I went through the whole boat looking for any stress cracks, if found I dremeled out the crack and filled with Tiger hair fiberglass reenforced filler. then AwlGrip Primered everything. AwlGrip is the best when it comes to Marine Paint.

Many rivers have regulations banning PWCs. So people have mostly turned to building mini sit in jet boats powered by PWC engines. This guy is among the best in the industry.

Crazy Center Console Mini Jet Boat!

If you must have a PWC there is AlumaPro Alumaski from Alaska.

OP - very cool! Looks like you are coming along nicely with it!!

I had something somewhat similar...a little pocket jet boat, a 2006 Sea-Doo Sportster SCIC, it had a 215 HP supercharged ROTAX...it would HAUL the mail! We nicknamed it our water taxi - was a great tender for our big cruiser. Not mine, but this is what it looked like:

There is room, not a whole lot but the side walls are adjustable to accommodate a varity of skis. It's tight but it works, it will be near maxed out on it's width adjustment.

Single battery for the electronics? Multiple batteries? Is there a way to charge said battery/batteries since I don't figure the boat portion has an alternator? I wouldn't expect the seadoo charging system to keep up with anything additional.
Thanks
The boat will have two batteries, and the left side compartment will house either a small Honda generator, or one of those Battery Bank units I am seeing now if I find one that meet my needs.
