None of it matters, we've gone over the precipice and we are in free fall now, you just don't realize it because we have't yet hit the bottom.
This Republic is finished, the tens of millions of immigrants that have flooded into this nation cannot be removed under our current social and political structure. We have all been played and placed into a position where there is no winning move left. We're in check and soon it will be checkmate. If things get so bad from the illegal immigrants that people form the will to expel them with the force necessary the mechanisms to do that will push us into a totalitarian dystopia. If we just accept the immigrants then they will become voters and that will push us into a totalitarian dystopia. Either way, the government is empowered significantly as a result of the illegal immigration, those seeking the centralization of powr can't lose. I understand the ramifications of Johnson being kicked out of his position and how this is a bad time for it to happen. I’ve also gotten sick and fucking tired of his type and how the party that is supposed to represent us manipulates their numbers as they see fit to prevent having to fulfill promises they have no intention of fulfilling. I remember the arguments against Gaetz being pretty similar to Greene, but at some point McCarthy and Johnson knew what was expected from them BEFORE they got the Speakership. McCarthy was suspect to begin with and the number of votes that were required to seat him should have been an indicator that people were tiring of the GOPs past performance, yet he proved his detractors were right and whined after being removed for it. Johnson is now doing the same thing and instead of people realizing we’re finally seeing accountability in action, there’s nothing but complaints and calls to make removing a lying, corrupt Speaker easier more difficult, using the same metrics Pelosi did to safeguard her position. Anything giving RINOs security into continue with what they’ve been doing is only going to lead to worse outcomes in the future. Many of the same lying Republicans in Congress were the ones shouting about repealing Obamacare, cutting taxes and reducing spending ten years ago will laugh in your face if you bring any of those issues up, so don’t get shocked when ten years from now they’ve taken gun control and open borders like Biden has given us off the table. We hate seeing the lack of accountability across the board in Congress and the White House, yet we finally see it in a position of power and there are calls to give it back and protect another weasel dick politician that needs removal. We need more handles on our representatives, not less.

I started to become politically interested around 1992. In the intervening 20 years, I have witnessed the Republicans (of which I am one) do this to themselves over and over - Newt Gingrich - the Tea Party, etc. You have to think that its not accidental, nobody could be stupid enough to blow the majority in the House and expel a great Speaker because he's not stupid? It always comes back to the same bunch. They dig in their heels over a suicidal issue, and of course they die on it and cede control of the Congress and White House in the bargain. It just happens over and over. If I had a cure for it I would say so but they are getting ready to lose the most important election of our time, which means our country is doomed, because they can't get their way on issues that most people support, like aid to Ukraine and some reasonable rules on abortion that both sides can live with. These two things in particular are what I mean by 'suicidal issues' - those that most reasonable people support but they cannot abide.
I don't know, I'm not really paying any attention to these radicals anymore. Nothing I can do about it anyway. |
