I know, seemed a bit "cringe" initially but it has grown on me. I find it humorous that most wouldn't expect the rider to be a 57 year old.

My wife's bike is more subdued.

The idea that you will be able to control a car's behavior to be to your liking with a whip, or any of the other things mentioned in this thread, is pants-on-head retarded.

I use a padlock tied with orange paracord through the hole on my front brake lever. I had one issue where the lock got caught in my crocks while riding off road on some fire roads deep in Maine. Right after that happened I removed the front brake lines. I don't want to be flipped over the front bars again.

I've never understood why a human, going 60mph and fully exposed to the road by their vehicle choice, would think it's a good idea to enrage a person ensconced in a motorized 4,000lb cage.

Couple HD guys I know have them and they are fucking morons on the bikes (and off no less). They had a blank look on their faces when they were asked what they are gonna do if the car/truck they use that whip on decides to play pin ball with them. Even funnier when you tell them they aint gonna outrun most cars and trucks on their Dynaglides. Hell one of them used to have a 883 and claimed its faster than a Hayabusa.Yeah a BONE STOCK Sporty isnt gonna keep up with a Busa anywheres beyond the stop sign.

On a side note, the term "cager" is very cringe.

If I'm close enough to a vehicle to use one of those stupid "get back whips" my hands are going to be on the bars where they belong moving the bike away from said vehicle.

Agreed. I just used the term to better describe the open, vulnerable, position of the whip wielding motorcyclist compared to the relatively protected automobile driver.

Do you follow your advice yourself when in a vehicle? If not, maybe you should take a closer look in the mirror. The amount of self righteous douchebags in cars far outweighs the amount on bikes, except when it comes to douchey crotch rocket riders.

I've been riding for 40 years, Yamaha, Honda, and Harley. Don't carry a "get back" anything.

The amount of times I've been cut-off, almost hit, or almost rear ended is ridiculous, all because people aren't paying attention.

People need to pull their heads out of their asses and pay attention to driving. Not their phone, not the DVR player, and not the misbehaving crotch fruit in the back seat.

Back in the days before bikes became so refined I "got back" a dickhead by standing on my center stand .

I got it with just 135 miles on it, which was a big factor in me buying a bike with monster energy embellishment.
It still had the warning sticker on the gas tank.

I removed the warning sticker from the tank not long after bringing the bike home in Feb.
It is a 2021 so the sticker wasn't easy to remove.
The monster energy and other badging has grown on me, I kinda like it now.
Besides, those stickers was a $500 option.

Nope

Common sense dictates that the weight differential isn't in the favor of the bike and/or biker. If you want to have a discussion about either one of our driving habits, we can find a nice parking lot and discuss it in person.

Tapping the kill switch on a buddy's bike? Meh, moderately funny. Used to do it to each other when we were younger.
