It's a sad situation (the victim was a 20yo mother) but some of the pearl clutching here is ridiculous.
Incidents like this have been going on since the dawn of time. Violent murders by deranged people have been going on since the beginning. We're not that far removed from the Old West. We're now more overpopulated and more of us are crammed in smaller areas. You think it's going to get better? Situations like this were happening daily, it's just now instead of an event being a 1" story on page 5 of your local newspaper, you see the actual incident happening in 10 states away all over social media. Same shit was happening in 1724, 1824, 1924, and likely in 2124.
