Hell, my wife is nearly in the 1000 pound club. (Yes in competition). When she lifts,  it’s funny to watch all those guys jaw drop.  (She mostly goes to a powerlifting gym, but sometimes comes to my gym, which is of the “high end athletic club” style)

Yes, I am in the 1000 pound club. My best guess is probably around 1025 right now. Because I have changed the way I lift as I age, I will probably fall below 1000 soon.  I feel as though I can maintain 975 for years to come.  I have been to 1150.

Currently yes. Best, 1440.

Nice pull. Are those shin guards designed for deadlifting or just some type of soccer ones?

Yeah.  I haven't maxed out my bench or deadlift in a while, but I squatted 475 a few weeks ago.  Here's 445 for two the week before I hit 475 for proof I'm not talking about my numbers from Polk High.  I can't get my arms behind a straight bar right now though.

Yeah, but it's still a shitload of weight that puts you in the top 1% of the population.

Exactly.  And as we age, maintaining measurable levels of fitness and strength are worth while goals.

any decently sized male, without any disability, should achieve this in 1-2 years with an intelligent program.

I was in though school with squat and dead alone. Probably could have hit it with squat and bench alone if I wanst lazy and hated bench

I'm certain I can do it, but I don't trust my body enough to try anymore, which sucks. I've had a couple pretty major tendon injuries/surgeries, and I can't afford more.

technically i was in 1200lb at 18 and lifted in 181 class. 1275 to be exact
350 bench
450 squat
475 dead.

squat and dead would have been higher but that was the start of my back issues.

Did a local push/pull meet last weekend and hit 315 reverse grip on bench and a 600 dead. Pretty sure I can squat at least 85lbs, so I answered yes.

For that precontest look. Of course. Health issues wise? Shitty genetics.

Regardless of what PED's are involved if you think for one minute I didn't put my time in under iron you would be mistaken. Throwing up  several times a week eating when you don't want to. Eating 8000 calories a day and 6 days a week in the gym. Nutreint timing and embracing that gym rat lifestyle is something few have the appetite for.

Anabolics only do so much. They are a recovery aid when used correctly. You are not getting density of muscle mass like that without heavy ass weight.

I did it in December.  275 bench, 400 squat, and 325 deadlift .  I'm a fatty. 6' 240 lbs.  47 yo.

I’m at around 900 lbs.

Deadlift  405

Squat     340

Bench    165

3 mile run 28:32

Nagging shoulder injury keeps my bench numbers in the crapper and I never was a good runner.

Farm strong,

I moved 95 some sheets of ag panels this afternoon for the shop I'm building.

90 ish steps round trip, two stacks because different colors.

The delivery driver said it weighed 8-9k.

It took about 2 1/2 hours.  I rode the exiercise bike this am and walked about 3/4 mile after lunch.

I'm pooped. 51 years getting soft.

I was last year by a good bit (1245). A couple surgeries unrelated to lifting have made my gym time this year inconsistent and I haven't tested anything, so I can't say definitively whether I can top 1000 total, but I feel like I can. I'm 55 fwiw.

I was in the 1000-pound club in Iraq on our deployment in 2008. It would take me a few years to get back to that level of fitness again.
