With 7 people in the family & raised Catholic we ate them every Friday during lent.  I cannot stand the smell of cooked fish sticks.  Plus, in school we were the lucky ones that got S on a Shingle (creamed tuna on toast).  Just thinking of those 2 items makes me nauseated.

With 50/50 ketchup-mayo mix and steak fries.

Gorton's beer battered fish is best fish.

I like them but they don't like me.

Regular fish battered and fried no issues, that ''minced'' shit they all call ''fish,'' issues. Gortons is the worst for some reason.

I'd probably hate to see the genetic profile of ''fish'' sticks and what kinds of fish are in them.

Most fish sticks are made from pollock and pacific cod. The way they are manufactured isn't all that different from how hot dogs are made. Cod and pollock are two of the wormiest fish from cold water. Both species are relatively low in mercury as they are fast growing with a short life and are not the top of the food chain.
