Fun fact: The green nova Jules and Vincent drive in pulp fiction is a nod to the movie repo man. The one that Marvin gets his head blown off in.

There seems to be an interest in the movie. BTW, it's a Michael Nesmith production. Yes, the former Monkee. Fun fact. Emilio Estevez for many years was the most profitable actor in Hollywood based on return on investment. It still may be true. What this means is the movies he was in always made money. They also were inexpensive to make so it was easy for the movies to make 2, 3, or greater times the cost of the movie. |

Haven't see the movie since I was a teenager sitting in a B-movie theater somewhere in the Valley, summer of 1984, along with a half dozen drunk punks drinking beer trying not to get tossed out.
Funny movie, the soundtrack music was FANTASTIC! Perfect example of a film being a "snapshot" in time, circa 1984. The scene around the burn-barrel kinda reminds me GD these days. |

First 6 months of 84 were great. I didn't see the movie until much later.did like it and was hanging out with different folks in 89..
Music from the 70s were great. 80s Music was like ripping off a bandaid. Still individual music and styles like 70s but very memorable I liked fm radio then. |
